There is no daytime running lights mandated in the US.
Silly isn’t it?

And unlike the nearly weightless charger on my desk, this will not fall off with the slightest tug.

I was six when this issue came out. Around that time my mother and a friend were saying that I’d be a good clothes model. I didn’t know what that was so she pointed to the Sears catalogue as an example.
I remember being horrified because all the kids looked thrilled to be wearing styles that were so tragically mod that no one I knew ever wore them. I figured if I wandered away, maybe they wouldn’t bring it up again. They didn’t.

And now, having skimmed Wikipedia, 1–2% of global energy expenditures are to power the Haber process.
The Haber Bosch process uses air and methane and a lot of energy and a simple catalyst to produce ammonia. By contrast, the nitrogen fixing process needs bacteria to create a nitrogenase catalyst and a fish tank full of chemistry to support them and keep them alive and happy.
Moreover, the bacteria are super efficient at producing ammonia for their own synthesis needs, but they’re pretty bad at producing free ammonia.
bohoky
For such a widely used process, knowing nothing about the two, you can safely infer that the Haber process is the cheaper of them.

The reasons that fellows are nominated are https://www.python.org/psf/fellows/#criteria
I’m posting this here because it took a little clicking around and I figured I’d save others that minor effort.

Thanks. That’s news to me, but in retrospect, thoroughly unsurprising.

To amplify get yourself a lease, you can do it tonight. Do you have a phone? Change the plan address tonight. Bank account? Change the address on that.
Without that lease, and a supporting account it could be fairly said that you do not live in the district that you sleep in. That doesn’t alter your eligibility to vote, but it makes it hard to say where you should vote.

I thought you might mean Chabad who is known for their proselytizing. But following other links in this post, they are far worse!

Just yesterday I bumped into https://getartcraft.com/ who have released “clean-room” reimplementations of Adobe Suite clones as open-source.
They claim “alpha” status, but I spent 10 minutes with PhotoCraft and it looks complete and solid. I’m honestly surprised at what motivated people can create when their preferred software becomes absurdly priced.
I have no connection to the project.

As the utility of stack overflow diminishes and they’ve had severe user loss, I don’t consider their sample representative of anything.
Okay, it is representative of “people who still use stack overflow” but I’m not sure what that population tells you about the world.

A week or so after I applied I got a unexpected letter from the DMV with a pin that allowed me to complete the verification.
At the time I had thought that the process had failed. It was just slowed by paper mail.

For the good of the species arguments are almost always incorrect. The genes are in the wrong place to ever allow that to work.
If I am successfully reproducing at 1000 years old then I am, in evolutionary terms, a winner.
The reason things aren’t selected for infinite lifetimes is that predation, parasites, pathogens, and sheer accident will cut any life short of forever. Because of that it is better to focus on reproducing in the short times that the real world affords.

We can just have the data centers run on local diesel generators… oh wait, that’s too expensive now, I guess it’s back to coal.

To be fair, so did Carter, and he served on a nucular submarine.

Nix is a package manager, NixOS is a Linux distribution based on Nix.
Python has a declarative package manager called uv. Nix could be used instead I guess, but it would be overkill for the task.

Apparently you’ve not talked to many lawyers: “definitive” is not in their vocabulary. “It depends…” is what they’ll say, because that’s the truth.
The circumstances, the officer, the prosecutor, and the magistrate, all bring their biases and interests to play. What is okay for the next guy might not be for you, all else being equal. It depends.

Sand and clays are formed by weathering as you note. What we normally think of as "dirt", the stuff in your flower bed, is [more properly called soil](Soil - Wikipedia). Soil, by definition, includes organic matter, and on earth that is made by life.
Many moons ago I had that exact problem. I took a cab to the doctor’s office and paid the driver twenty bucks to say he was my friend and would be picking me up.
It satisfied the office protocol and no one was the wiser. I have no idea what the going rate for hired subterfuge would be today or if any driver would.
