The retention style on that ratchet means the bit will only be held by the spring when the bit is positioned in 1 of 3 possible orientations

I use the jeans with the most holes as a sacrifice

I was wrong, thats awesome! Is that relatively new I remember looking when I put one on my crunch, i ended up buying a rev on eBay
buildntinker
Does an integrated pocket clip count asan accessory I wonder? I know they definitely don’t sell sideclip or rev replacement clips

I like wabar

There should be a small hole in the back you can poke with an Allen key or drill bit and it’ll pop the bit out

Fremont troll! Cool he’s still there, he lived under that bridge when I lived in Seattle

Ha no problem I just go nuts for fasteners. You can take the boy out of the hardware store…
buildntinker
And test it in the store those things are cheap
buildntinker
If you can see it just go to the hardware store (or maybe even dollar store) and get one of those grabby tools with a claw, magnet won’t work. Good luck! I still can’t believe I guessed it

Holy cow im right?! That’s awesome, I’m sorry not of the top of my head but let me think for a sec. Usually a bathtub drain will have a bend right under the actual drain maybe you can get it with pliers or a claw style grabby tool, I’d at least look with a light. If you can’t find it,10-24 is the size you need to go into the drain right? What is the size that has to go into the stopper? Probably 1/4-20?

Did you recently install a toe touch bathtub stopper? I used to work in a hardware store and those all came with one of these. Other than that maybe a camera adapter

You can buy just the end nubbin from a new wave, im pretty sure it should be painless
buildntinker
My guess is the easiest thing to change to avoid patent stuff, I put the driver on the surge and the tshank holder on a wave rebar combo, which was a pain and still could be a little nicer. I probably would’ve been better served just using it to make another supersurge because most of the work was in profiling the back to fit the smaller tool
buildntinker
It’s changed a lot but currently it has
St300eod notched handle, surge handle
2 outside tools;utility blade holder , tshank adapter, scribe, tweezers, pocket clip from random cheap knife
Surge side is just a 1/4” bitholder from bibury tool, magnet added and heavily filed the sides. Had to drill the pivot hole but the lock worked right away.
St300(eod) side has marlinspike,Philips driver, awl, tshank adapter, and wood saw
This was the 2 versions ago , but the only thing different from the picture was I swapped a flat driver for the wood saw( pictured version has 2 flat drivers
buildntinker
I only used the amount of washers that were originally on it I think, it’s changed a lot so I usually just fiddle around until what I want fits. I had to remove a flat driver to fit the spike though. Rebar and st300 style handles are a bit more forgiving on width
buildntinker
Both are stock on st300 eod
buildntinker
Scribe from a combination square, one side filed smooth to let the screwdriver pass next to it. On the other side of the surge handle is a set of style tweezers

Either get a 12 in delta extension, it’s a hose with one side male 3/8 compression to go on your hose, and one side female 3/8 compression to to go on the valve. That’ll be long though and if you really only need an inch and want to keep it neat you could put a 3/8 compression tee with the side capped. Both very cheap solutions
buildntinker
I don’t think you’d be able to just do a drop in swap, you would have to drill the pivots larger and probably thin whatever tool you wanted to add. Anything is possible I have some bibury scissors I’ll try and put on a wave frame
buildntinker
The 1/4” bitholder can be slimmed to fit a surge but probably too thick for the wave. I did manage to get the tshank adapter off a bibury surge clone onto the wave with a lot of grinding, it’s a little janky
