So you don't understand what Airbending does either, otherwise you would understand that the other player didn't explain what their card did.

Where does it say she took something laced with fent?

caddph

Yea I'm struggling to understand why everyone is assuming she took something laced with fent; I don't see anything in this article (aside from the byline of it being ruled an accident) that indicates it was due to taking a laced drug. I feel like if anything, it's the opposite. Wouldn't a person dying from taking a laced drug be considered suspicious or potential foul play?

Venser's trigger goes on the stack, Venser himself goes to an opponent, then you target Venser

To clarify, the trigger doesn't actually go onto the stack until after Dack's ability has finished, which is crucial for how this is actually possible. Others have clarified how this exactly functions, but wanted to point this piece out as it may cause some confusion.

That's the title of the award.

There were a few bits changed, and while not sure what exactly the OP is referencing, for me I liked that she didn't end up selling her home in the movie.

In the book, she sold it by the time the larger story resolves. There's more in the book about what the house means to her, so it was a nice touch for her to keep it.

That said, he did help put the right people in place to continue the games. With Jonathan, they helped develop the culture at GGG which (while Chris may disagree with a particular aspect of the game), makes the games the best they can be.

caddph

I mean, it already is.

caddph

Their first big announcement was a new character for HotS lol

caddph

I think that's a bit much; especially considering some games are legitimate scams. D4 is "bad", but really its just mid/disappointing. Campaign is fun, and game is relatively enjoyable your first go around. They just have no vision for making it a compelling ARPG.

caddph

Well the ETB actually makes this card a lot worse as someone can destroy it before you can activate the ability.

He forgot to say "no mistakes" in his prompt.

caddph

Oh wow I haven't thought about Drawn Together for a minute.

Yea for ones that are completeable in another region (e.g., banite), I'd rather they just tailor that task to be in that region (e.g., wear full set of Banite in Fremmy slayer dungeon, etc...).

And for cross-region tasks, I would rather they simply have their own category, and instead of being super minor like 10 points for lodestones, be pinnacle tasks. Like in original OSRS trailblazer, wearing full dragon was an elite task that required Kandarin & Fremmy. It would require a lot of effort to balance these (as some can be done w/ relic choice vs. region choice), but would be more interesting IMO.

caddph

No, the ingame visual is correct; OP didn't explain Veil's effect correctly, which is "You have no Elemental Resistances".

caddph

Global tasks requiring specific regions isn't necessarily a problem. Global tasks includes cross-region tasks.

caddph

But that's the entire point of the skill...? You spend that time digging up artefacts in order to restore them lol.

caddph

Yea I came back for leagues and tried EoC 2.0 for the first time... was very confused why weapons of the same tier had differing speed/dmg values still. I guess legacy mode still exists, but IMO tooltips should reflect ability damage when non-legacy combat is enabled.

People largely disliked the idol system due to the lack of the atlas & atlas progression (e.g., in order to do blight & only blight, you needed to get the right setup of non-rollable idols or try to recomb them yourself).

While people typically don't prefer the idol system over the core atlas system, people have wanted aspects of the idol system (maybe in the form of jewels or cluster jewels on the atlas as another vector of min-maxing).

I do think there is a middle ground somewhere between scarabs and idols/tablets (and personally really like the idea of jewel slots on the atlas for POE 1 at least). I think POE 1 and 2 are both missing that mark (2 moreso than 1, mostly due to clunky management).

caddph

And the vestigial mechanic where you make them in a random order (mainly to incentivize TH spending), instead of being able to make each piece in order (so if they want to keep the 3 minor sets folding into 1 master set, you should be able to complete your first minor set with 18k fragments).

caddph

For Div energy, I'm referring to the divine conversion relic which can make getting energies consistently fast.

I guess I needed to clarify, but if you have endless harvest, you get full afk cooking/firemaking while fishing/woodcutting. I know they're not fastest methods (even with EH), but many people have/want full afk methods, and this enables that. Prod master is strong, but is a more active relic whereas this is more passive.

So yea, you can do other methods; just saying that some otherwise unobtainable arch relics (depending on regions) can create some easy solves.

caddph

Arch relics give you easy solves to cooking, firemaking, dive energy, and the arch caskets give you tons of high tier clues (plus all the other stuff to blast through arch). It's not the best, but depending on your other pick, it can be very strong.
