My '88 Scirocco apparently has the ride height of a tractor. I pulled off an oil change by driving up onto two small bits of wood. She also got an air filter, spark plugs, and dizzy cap+rotor. (imgur.com) [Tools/External Sites]

My partner and I had a moment of madness and bought a 1988 Scirocco GT with no MOT. All it needed was a rear wheel bearing and a headlight fuse and it now has a year's MOT. Cheap and easy classic motoring! (self.cars)
