👁️ Surveillance State: I voted Yea.

Only thing I can come up with is something to do with the idiom "ducks in a row"

I might even throw pre-injury Couts there as well. Had a 4 year stretch that was as good as Larkin has ever had offensively while also being who he was defensively.

You just need the Perilous Moons quest requirements, but higher hunter/cooking/herblore/fishing makes prepping more efficient

campppp

If you haven't done it, Moons of Peril is pretty easy and you also get free supplies. Mechanics are relevant to learn, tons of banked exp in herbs and clay, and the armor/weapons rewards are all good mid game.

Also, just grinding slayer can be a solid way to build money.

Paying for someone else to cut your lawn.

You can get a pretty good price if you don't have a difficult lawn and/or there are others around using the same service. I still do it myself because I enjoy it sometimes, but definitely not out of my price range if I wanted

She also holds pizza like a very normal human

campppp

Tbf having the characters support it is pretty much the biggest indictment the show could make lmao

Peter Forsberg once told me that Gagne was the purest goal scorer he ever played with

Yeah in my comment I said along the lines of Tochett's system actually doing a 'good job' of raising a teams floor, but it seems to come at the expense of creativity and such. Seems that it comes at the expense of the future ceiling of some players too, based on track record.

Maybe I'm wrong, but always felt like Toch would do better coaching a veteran team trying to get some last years of compete out of a roster, rather than nurturing young talent through a rebuild.

Got career year from our goalie, played low event hockey, pushed for OT. I think they had 10 shootout wins and 12 loser points.

Feels like Tochett can do a 'good job' of dragging up a teams floor with his style, but as we are seeing (again), it's at the cost of the long term ceiling

Drakans Medallion, which you get from A Taste of Hope quest, has teleports to the area.

campppp

Yeah the boxing matches off the faceoffs are so annoying. Also hate seeing injuries from fighting, especially now that goons aren't really a thing

Specifics vary, but some common litRPG stuff in both are the abrupt 'introduction' to a system. Individual skills/power deriving from said system. Bosses and looting stuff. Pretty much everything that makes it "like being in a game".

My personal experience with DCC being the first I've read in the genre has been that nothing else has really come close. DCC doesn't lean as heavily into specific stats or small 'upgrades' taking up whole chapters to discuss. Another big one for me is that DCC is a contained story in which the series will have a thought out beginning, middle, and end. A lot of litRPGs I've tried are just aimless or forever stories, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but its like comparing Law and Order to Breaking Bad

With most teams and sports id agree, but I think the NFL is the league where teams can retool the easiest/fastest without ever 'tearing it all down'. Imo Howie and Lurie aren't the types to view a 9-8 division title as a reason to not shake things up.

I obv don't want another embarrassing first round exit, but I also won't be worried that making the playoffs will like that will change their long term plans like I was with the Flyers last year or running it back like the Phillies

campppp

Story is sus... there's no halftime in hockey /s

campppp

This should just be an automod reply at this point lmao

campppp

And the second one was a 0-0 count lol

Lane is like 6 months older than me. While I've watched tons of players have HoF careers in my lifetime, the last few years have been weird and the next 5 years or so will be even weirder for me.

Rodgers is almost done, Ovechkin just announced, Scherzer and Verlander done. It's a crazy thing to think as a Philly sports fan that Crosby would be one of the last guys helping me retain youth lmao.

Pretty much anyone around is from my early college years at best, and even a lot of those guys are coming close.

campppp

That would be great, they'd be getting close to double digits at that point!

campppp

I'm trying not to get too excited about this, but we might even have the firepower at this point to score 3 goals in a game every now and then

I always say that if the other seasons all released without True Detective in the name, theyd be at worst thought of as decent miniseries.

It's also not as relevant of an answer imo because it's an anthology. It's not a continuation besides some references and such, so it's not like they tainted season ones story with subsequent seasons.

campppp

Idk i feel like sometimes a thing is just so true that there's not really any other way to put it lmao

Thinking about the fact that in the near future there will be no one left who actually fought in WWII is one of those things that is just crazy to think about.

One of those things that grandkids in 25 years will think it's crazy that you knew people that fought in it
