I've answered some comments and provided additional info that I was supposed to do from the start, but I was too lazy. I am sorry, guys.

I really enjoyed this one. But after I've inserted my favorite metal Alice pick, it burned my fingers a bit, and some funny smoke comes out of the PC vents. Still, the program doesn't work yet.

Damn, I think I've failed this part.

I'm trying to help my friend. He wants to use Guitar Pro 8, but it doesn't open after installation, just silently crashes. The only thing I noticed, that he has some weird cut repack of Windows 11 (ZverCD, I guess). I tried to look through the registry, services, and Windows components, but it nothing special there. I've installed all commonly used frameworks, but it still fails to open.

Somehow the Guitar Pro 7 was installed and runs. It opens the file properly the first time, but it crashes after you reopen the same file on the 2nd time.

I also tried to do a portable version out of my working installation on my PC -- it still does not work for him; the problem is totally the same.

I tried to go through the logs on both versions -- they do not contain any crash information. I tried to look through Process Monitor when crashing, but nothing specific again.

I can't find any adequate explanation for this situation in my head. So I'm seeking your help and ideas, thank you.

Secret World Legends (previously The Secret World)

Fan Control without anything shows no options at totally, and tells that there is some ASUS WMI error. I`ve found the ASUS WMI plugin, but it just does not pop up in the available plugin options when I launch autoconfigure there.

This link is dead. Do you have a new one?

LDPlayer is one of the worst options right now. I`ve never seen so many ads in my life as I see during one LDPlayer session. And the performance really dropped in version 9. It was my favorite all the time, but now I should seek an alternative.

These games don’t really have a “main protagonist” though.
