I hate living here sometimes. Every game in the Bay Area is minimum $300 for upper bowl, it’s fucking ridiculous. Every concert at a bigger venue is minimum $200. Have to fly to Vegas sometimes just to catch a damn show.

Yeah I dont understand this argument at all, fortress hubs dont affect the presence of a bank lounge. Also SFO is a (growing?) fortress hub for United but United does not have the strongest fortress at SFO

United and Amex already have enough lounges in SFO, Air Canada has one too. I believe United might actually be expanding one of their lounges in T3. T3 has construction going on that includes space for an additional bank lounge, and it’s speculated that bank lounge can go either to C1 or Chase. Really hoping it’s Chase.

To clarify, Priority Pass IS part of the Sapphire Reserve lounge card access. But Sapphire Lounges are not a part of Priority Pass and limited mainly to CSR, CSRB, Ritz, JP Morgan Reserve holders.

I have watched three videos on this program and the Palladium and mostly understood it. Reading through these changes I can’t immediately tell if they’re good or not, other than BILT cash rollover being updated for the better. Classic BILT

If you don't really have plans or anything concrete in mind then the Chase Sapphire Preferred or Citi Strata Premier could work. Sapphire Preferred in particular has Southwest points transfers which can be good.

Theyre both my (planned) endgame cards. I have the Surpass now and use it for the $15k spend for free night benefit and $200 Hilton quarterly credits. Aspire I hope to get eventually to get at least two free nights per year, and take advantage of the benefits on that card.

I like Hilton mostly for the free night potential, and like their properties themselves. Beyond that, the program itself is okay. Most people concerned with the program seem to like Marriott more if you do more frequent cash stays.
