as for void vs debian, i run debian trixie currently on my server.

runit and xbps are much nicer in my opinion than systemd and apt.

theres abit of a difference in how each distro updates as voids more of a rolling stable and debian has their versions with a testing and unstable sorta thing. void also has some packages that are quite old either because of design/compatibility choices or shortage of man power but the most used ones usually arent far behind current releases if at all.

void is the nicest distro ive used in my quarter century of daily driving linux.
