In Communist Kimiland, WDC win you!

To he honest, it wasn't that exciting to watch. Shock is fundamentally so sound and so fast. He won quite clearly winning almost every round pretty clearly. There were nice counters timed by Shock but the clinching and the evasive footwork just reset the action constantly. Nav really didn't have an answer.

Man, I hate watching foster fight. Just hops back every damn time and hugs when he closes the distance. Reminds me of a less bad version of Shakur vs. de los Santos snoozefest.
chiefbroski42
Even a 1 fight contract with any one of them would be tough to believe these days, let alone all three. Lol.

Played the campaign on Warcraft 2 on Windows 95 on an Intel 486. Then there a big gap until Frozen Throne which I played a bit of multiplayer/LAN with friends. Then only got into Dota randomly in 2013, playing pretty solid with only a year or two break when kids were born and at 39 I'm still 2k trash to this day.
chiefbroski42
It was a very close fight. I even thought Mbilli landed slightly more, because he did block or deflect a lot because his head movement is better despite being a worse boxer. The draw seemed fair and I could see my Mbilli bias blinding me for the Martinez slight edge.

Yes. I do it. Helps me practise and learn and helps their french skills more as they are in full french school.

Nobody gives about shit about those compared to the incontinence titles.
chiefbroski42
Yea, true. Just saying it's more strict than what I've seen with other international IPF events lately like just watching the world's in June where I could have sworn I've seen multiple identical hook grip conventionals just like this get 3 whites.
chiefbroski42
Firstly, I'll just say there are some good answers in here like shoulder position should be farther back so not as crisp a lockout or even a little bit or "soft knees".
But man, to me, his type of unnecessarily rigid rules and reffing is lame af. Looks more strict than IPF. This is doesn't encourage anyone to stay in or watch powerlifting. Erect should be erect.
Not a fan of these shoulder roll police or knee asthetics competitions.

Yea, he did well but I'm just wondering if cruiser is still better for his size partially because maybe Bakole wasn't the boogeyman he was made out to be, and maybe Hunter he would stay more active at cruiser. I dunno. Bakole was a good win but he needs more fights.
Come to think about it... Some similarities between Hunter vs Bakole and Ituama vs Hrgovic. Both guys were landing all night against granite chins and got gassed. The difference is Hunter had better fight IQ, better fight plan with his weight and conditioning, and found a second gear/slowed the pace enough. It's why I thought Itauma would still win but man was I wrong.
chiefbroski42
Michael Hunter, like Torres, just seemed too small for modern heavyweights. Not sure how much better he would do but probably better than in heavyweight, but he did go the distance with Usyk.
chiefbroski42
Just have fun playing with others in a team. Trying new builds, feeling like I contributed. Bonus points if some clowny build semi-works.
chiefbroski42
Yep. I was so, so wrong about Hrgovic's chin. Thought it wouldn't hold up but it really did. Also didn't think Itauma would gas himself out so bad either. Inexperience and poor conditioning on his part that I thought wouldn't have the chance to surface if it was there. I am eating crow big time on this prediction.
chiefbroski42
Well, I thought for sure Hrgovic would lose the fight. Time to eat some humble pie. It went exactly as I thought until Itauma ran his tank down to empty. Bad fight IQ, bad coaching, not enough cardio in training, even though he was demolishing Hrgovic who just went full Homer Simpson.
chiefbroski42
There's always a possibility in heavyweight boxing, but it would be an extremely unlikely fluke.
The reality is that Itauma will blast out Hrgovic EZ. There is nothing Hrgovic has that can trouble him. Nothing. There is little indication Itauma will even get hit cleanly, let alone that his chin is bad at all. I'm just counting down the hours for all those who are saying Hrgovic is no joke and will be extremely tough for Itauma to suddenly act like he's a second rate nobody who was never even good enough in the past to be considered washed. Hrgovic is good, but not on Itauma's level. Plain and simple.
This kid would easily dispatch everyone in the division except Usyk. Current Usyk would be a challenge, prime Usyk is a bit too far.
chiefbroski42
The man barely got through Zhang and got worked by Dubois. It's not disrespect, it's just he is going up against Itauma. Even if Itauma hasn't been tested, it's because he's on another level.
chiefbroski42
Everyone thought Joe Joyce had a titanium chin until he got banged by Zhang. You cannot rely on a strong chin with Itauma. This is heavyweight boxing. Itauma has that prime Wilder speed but with timing and accuracy on top of the feints with good footwork. Nobody can take just tank shots from him all fight without elite defence. They said the same shit with Franklin. Itauma got him down for the first time in round 3. Also, Bakole got cracked by Parker after people knew Bakole was durable af. Hergovic's chin is not an obstacle at all for Itauma; it's a liability because it cannot be relied on in this fight.
chiefbroski42
And you're downvoted for being correct because people spent more time being influenced by the commentary than watching the actual punches. Sad.
chiefbroski42
All facts. Rewatched the Castillo fight and it's clear to me that Mayweather won.
Contract will probably have a refattening clause.
