Hello, (self.randomthings)

That doesn't help when the functionality involves communication between the compositor and the application, in which case there needs to be a standard protocol or API for it

$ aplay /dev/random
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:999:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
aplay: main:834: audio open error: No such file or directory

I wouldn't even be mad if it went both ways, and we could train models on proprietary software's leaked or decompiled source code in order to produce FOSS alternatives
Is that not true? If it's true that copyright doesn't matter for training data then that's fine

I should switch it it to 3.5-turbo

It was the best one available a few years ago when I created the bot, then my OpenAI key got invalidated so it went back to the old version as a fallback
It's fixed now
circuit10
It's fine if it's not the only way to do it

Fixed

*old model
It reverted back to this because I accidentally invalidated my OpenAI key
I'll fix it now

An AI would probably have correct grammar and be aware of what Linux is.
circuit10
It's definitely just a person who doesn't really know what they're talking about
circuit10
And ChatGPT definitely knows what Linux is
circuit10
Oh, u/zenyl already noticed

Yes, this was posted a year ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxmemes/comments/r8okn2/i\_didnt\_even\_know\_embedded\_windows\_was\_a\_thing/

It was a joke, no one seriously believes this is him but it's a humorous way to point out that they sound similar

This is the first post this user has made and I'm sure I've seen it before, so this could be a repost bot. (sorry to the poster if not, but if this is a repost like I suspect you should still give credit)
circuit10
Sorry, I missed that

So I should never be allowed to record my screen for any reason? I guess you should go and tell anyone taking screenshots, making tutorials or gameplay videos, presenting things in online meetings, giving remote tech support, accessing their computer from somewhere else, using network screen mirroring or using accessibility tools like magnifiers that they are no longer allowed to do any of that because someone decided that users can't be trusted with the freedom to access their own screens

In theory, but in practice most complex documents have at least one thing wrong with them. Though often you can work with that as it's generally minor visual things
circuit10
I don't think it's the same thing but these projects are very similar:

LibreOffice does have a ribbon UI, though it's not very good. OnlyOffice has a nicer UI in my opinion, it's also FOSS and the Office compatibility is good so you could try that
Don't worry, I made the same mistake so they didn't make it clear enough
