I went through pretty much exactly what your describing.

Had a baby im an unstable marriage, then started a new job that required me to be on call with odd hours.

The way I was constantly in a state of panic that I’d lose my job and or get sick and die or my wife would leave me was completely crippling.

Drinking would calm it down but then in between the relief it provided my anxiety got worse.

It was a feeling I’d not wish on anyone. I even started to develop a tick.

Did therapy, which began to help, and then trial and error with meds.

A key component of feeling better was making sure I was getting adequate sleep. It became the priority. Ended up on amitryptiline which was a antidepressant that made me sleep without bad side effects other than a bit of weight gain.

Talk to your doctor, therapist and look for a support group so you realize you aren’t alone with how you’re feeling. Others have gone through times like yours and made it through.

Start practicing more self care and address each of your fears little by little.

It can get better because I’ve been there and made it through.

Michael is very obviously a narcissist. We’ve seen this on display through his entire career in Armwrestling.

Every loss he’s had is followed by excuses, then followed by the next push on why he’s actually deserving of a shot against Levan or some other extremely difficult opponent.

There’s a reason he was called Delusional Michael Todd.

So I’m sure after years of telling the same lies to friends, family, athletes and employers, Michael actually started to believe them, and as with most narcissists, he’s always the victim of some unfair, unjust, treatment or circumstance.

He’s never been capable of fully accepting accountability for anything that would dispel his delusions that he has built for himself, whether it be on the arm wrestling table or in his personal life.

The revelations of this past week and Michael’s response to them actually make perfect sense if we sit back and look at his personality and past behavior.

In addition to what Minhale said, I think there was a belief after Ermes and Levan 1, that Levan might be susceptible to a good flop press.

If Jerry could have dug in a dragged Levan into deep water people thought he might gas out again.

Well, they also technically gave him more rope to hang himself with, considering he used the livestream to tell more lies.

If he decides to sue EvW, that livestream will be good evidence if it proves he was repeatedly lying to them.

I think saying something publicly will open them up to lawsuit if Michael and Rebecca want to drag this into court.

Even if the case for the Todd’s seems like a bad one, nobody wants to get pulled into a legal dispute that could cost them money and time.

Better to let things just play out between EvW management and Michael, while the athletes stay out of it.

Might also be preparation for defending a. legal dispute for monetary compensation.

If left up, Michael might claim EvW is still profiting off his likeness and is owed for its use.

I’m all for less moderation on this topic, so some clarity would be nice, otherwise it just looks like the sub is getting whitewashed.
