Ya I’m keeping it. In case it creates a new sub genre

I really enjoy the “earth” arc starting in 4. That would be my choice
cmgerber
Agreed if you don’t like the first book you won’t like the others.

DCC for a single read is awesome, HWFWM is much more re-readable and I think has a much better universe building. Both are great but HWFWM wins fro the enduring standpoint for me.

First 5 books were amazing. I kept hoping the next book after would get back to something interesting happening. And it just kept getting narrower and narrower, less and less universe building, character building etc…
Cultivation fantasy just isn’t for me I suppose, feels like this series started as something else and moved to hard cultivations fantasy.

Bog standard isakai
Hedge wizard
Mark of the fool
All hit the more medical fantasy litrpg space and are great series

I’m pretty sure he addressed this and just said he really likes writing long fight scenes and will continue to. So it’s a bit of take it or leave it.

Her voice acting in the audiobooks definitely makes it great. Really like it as a light way to keep progressing other parts of the broader colonies development.

Help would be great! Name is gerbss

Also it's not a bot, its a human volunteer.

It seems like trump is making massive decisions that affect the entire world just because he is getting bad press about something. "Trump is helping Chinese workers over Americans" probably lead to him thinking he needs to show his "strength" against China and taking this action without really thinking it through or probably talking to anyone in his admin.

And claiming they are "clarifying" a rule when in reality they are completely changing it to bypass voters.
cmgerber
Ya but he wasn't specifically representing Trump in the Russia Investigation

The fact that Congress is fine with Trump doing this is what is really scary, he is basically trying to cut Congress out of one of their most important duties of allocating the budget...

Demanding common sense gun laws is throwing away your leverage? What?

I honestly sometime don't do projects because of the cleanup, this is an amazing idea.

They don’t rewrap, they go directly to the source. So Kirkland vodka is from the same distillery as grey goose but you don’t have to pay for any of the marketing and other overhead built into the grey goose brands cost.

The shaking grass represents a spawn point for pokemon. A random pokemon will spawn there at the same time every hour and stay for 15 minutes and then despawn.
I have a couple outside my house and without fail if you check between the :33 and :48 there will be a pokemon there.

T the try

Based on Hitchhikers maybe a good intro into more SF would be Redshirts by John Scalzi. Its a quick read and pretty funny as well.

If they had actually fully spun it off as a new show I think it could have made it. But because they kept so many people from the original and tried to softly transition it, it was impossible not to compare it to the original and it just did not stand up to it.
I was actually starting to like the character a lot by the end.

I think you should definitely continue into the Void trilogy. Its a great continuation of the series and as you mentioned there is a vast scope of story and characters so it helps to continue reading so you can keep all that fresh in your mind.

Non-resolution? What wasn't resolved?

I feel like it could be the opposite actually. People will realize you can play much more aggressive vs him in lane than you used to since he no longer has any mobility.
1% lifesteal hits the psychotic fighting/MC spot well.
