I think you're very harshly misreading it.
Just to go point by point-
1) Not having money on you does not make you poor. Sayori struggles with those sorts of long term planning things like having what she needs on her because that's depression 101 for her type. Even if she does have the money, she just won't think about carrying it with her because that sort of thing falls out of memory when you're dealing with that sort of persistent mental turmoil. And whatever she DOES have almost certainly gets spent, because she constantly skips meals due to her self loathing and so she's constantly needing to spend what allowance she gets on overpriced under-nutrionined snacks whenever the hunger surpasses the despair. It's also almost certainly just an excuse to be alone with MC. She's not asking him because he's who she can con into giving her money, she's asking him because she wants an excuse to be alone with him.
Again, this is just a depression thing. She can't motivate herself to change things. She's desperate to cling onto the past and terrified of moving beyond the present, and getting a new uniform feels like be rewarded or being a burden. She wants to be as small and insignificant as possible, and she embraces the constant minor suffering from the ill fitting clothes. She's also playing it up in the moment with the boy she likes.
Sayori steals a bite from Natsuki being she's having fun and it tastes good. She isn't starving to death, she's hungry and her friend makes tasty food and has big reactions to her antics and takes extreme pride in other people praising her baking. She's basically being silly while making her friend feel good about herself.
And all that's to set aside that a kid not having money doesn't mean they're poor. Personally, maybe, but not at a family level. My family was fine off and I never got an allowance or had money to buy snacks, heck my parents borrowed money from ME at times, it was just how they wanted to raise me. If I really wanted something I needed to ask, and obviously that meant I rarely had anything in my wallet if I needed something in the moment I less I plan Ed for it ahead of time.

When I was 8 I was copying my writing because no 8 y/o knows how to write like that. When I was 18 I was plagiarizing because no 18 y/o can write like that. Now I'm 28 and I'm actually just AI because no human writes like that.
I also speak this way sometimes. These are just the words my brain uses.
I still get shit for it.
Same bullshit argument as whenever you wish you were taught something in school and everyone immediately trashes it because "lmao teens will just ignore it, idiot!" Well motherfucker I wanted to sleep through those four years of Spanish but you still made me take them, let me take the fucking class on taxes and household finance for a semester instead of conjugating vowels.
"Nobody talks that way!" Some of us do.

Reminds me of The Flood in Halo.
The Forerunner thought the ancient Human-prohpet alliance had found a "cure" for the Flood because the Flood basically retreated/died out from the galaxy entirely not long before the Forerunner delivered the last blows to subjugate humanity and the prophets.
This was later clarified from The Flood that the pullback was entirely voluntary. The Flood did it just to fuck with the Forerunner and make them spend millenia chasing a fictional cure, wasting time and reasources and also ensuring the Forerunner would keep keeping examples of Flood preserved to research to try to find this "cure", and so that the Forerunner wouldn't take the threat of the Flood seriously as early as they should.
Though this ALSO comes with the giga brain note that the Flood could totally be lying. The Flood very very rarely lies, typically doing the hitogami style malevolent "true but also deliberately framed to mislead" thing, but absolutely nothing says they CAN'T just straight lie.

Didn't Demon Souls have an ally that starts assassinating all the other safe zone NPCs if you rescue them?

That's usually down to Mom typically doing all the things related to it and also being default assumed to have all responsibility for it.
Being the male adult and taking the kid to Doc is about the same experience as being the wife walking into the car sales showroom. It doesn't matter if you're the one who knows everything because you'll always be treated as if you're clueless anyways and either mistrusted or actively ignored through pleasantries.
And then remembering every bit is like trying to remember the language you took 4 years of in HS. Even if you got 100% every year you're still gonna struggle to stay at conversational because brains don't remember shit they don't consistently get to use.

I care a lot about the birthdays of my family. I can also say confidently I've never once said anything about one of their birthdays to one of my friends because why the fuck would my friends need to know about my niece turning 12.

I wish more of the girls in my life could just accept that most men don't define their friendships by how detailed their internal rolladex is on them, and a good hang out to most men does not include attempting to update said rolladexes.
It sounds fucking exhausting when they try to talk about that stuff like it's the only way they can enjoy time together.
I just don't understand how it's so closely tied to gender. What part of being a girl causes so many to fret over that stuff? I can't imagine it's some biological rule, it has to be some quirk of society that men just aren't privy to.

But that is a higher standard tho
It's a consistent issue but that doesn't mean it's a consistent issue nobody cares about. They try to enforce it and see those doing that shit as scum, but it's not exactly a culture where people would get the shit beat out of them for trying it and it's really fucking hard to stop with purely organized responses.

On I-71 between Columbus and Cincinnati, visible driving NE.
Not far from the "marriage is between a man and a woman" billboard.
Apparently some rich old guy from like Kentucky owns the properties as rentals and puts up these billboards where they meet the highway.
The good news is the data centre is being built further towards the US-35 interchange so the HELL IS REAL sign is safe. Unfortunately though you'd only see it when driving AWAY from the data centre and battery plant so it's on the wrong side of the road.
I feel so bad for the people living there. There's a couple groups of houses there on the other side of 7__ (forget the numbers) right across from them that used to be just small groups of not very wealthy old folks and retirees, and now they're blasted with cool tone light all night long with huge traffic influxes. And I'm pretty sure they were all on wells so idk what their water situation will look like. It's been bad for the whole area since they put in the cement plant and replaced a bunch of mixed use and wooded land with big corpo well-based farms.

Thank fuck, finally someone actually describes an item instead of a brand name that will be virtually meaningless to most people.
cpMetis
No, it's like someone says "it's a GM" and you're like "a GM WHAT?"
I don't give a fuck about the brand. That tells me nothing substantial about what the item is when my question is very obviously about the item.

John had been a voiced character with a defined story and personality for two decades when they made the TV series, across 5 games and probably 10 books plus comics.
They just chose to completely ignore all of it.

And Red vs Blue was 20 years ongoing and has made people cry before.
Hell, RvB even has them take of their helmets sometimes but specifically not for the bits that could make you cry, and 4/5 the cast never took theirs off once.

His face has like 2s of screen time across the franchise, entirely from a brief moment at the end I think of 4.
A lot more than that if you can't when he was a kid from non-game content, mostly Fall of Reach, but even then it doesn't show his face much after Sam's death at the start of the war. Definitely not since he's been an adult.
It's actually canonical that Spartan IIs are extremely uncomfortable outside their armour for various psychological conditioning and trauma reasons and deliberately wear it whenever possible. There are few exceptions and John is absolutely not one of them, if anything he has it worse.

Congratz.
Meanwhile I was basically told to fuck off for trying to order "pancake"s at 10:02AM.
I just wanted mediocre overpriced batter circles, damnit.

You can even purposefully endanger their children fully legally then make them pay to save their lives!
Thanks, Nestle.

I'm glad to be a lot like Linus. I kinda just don't see ads.
They may be on my screen, but they register immediately as blank white/black space between what I'm doing.
It's annoying, but I basically never notice they're there.

They're a group of kids who work as a group for the fucked up twisted government/corporations of the secretly very exploitive autocratic/technocratic setting for the series.
Later, blonde is captured by a rival group and tortured for information. After she cracks and gives up some, redhead relentlessly hunts her down and murders her, literally cutting her in half and dragging half her corpse with her as she then pursues some others from her group for trying to get away.
There are many characters in the series that try to be somewhat relatable or at least understandable while also murdering many people not all of whom deserve it. Blonde is another example of one. But redhead is a bit of an outlier in terms of just how much she seems to relish the violence and genuinely terrify even characters who are used to the fucked up underbelly of their society. Most others have the excuse of being entrapped into it or at least doing it for money, while redhead is far more indifferent to needing a reason.
Particularly when she's mad. Which happens a lot since she's got anger issues.
I guess you could say she has..... meltdowns.

You are an American plant, and the others are radical Russian nationalists. The operation is a false flag they're staging to justify war against the US, so he reminds everyone to only speak English, and your character is partaking in it to get close to him to pass intelligence back to the CIA/military. And it obviously all goes wrong when you reach the end and he kills you, deliberately leaving your body behind so not only does Russia have an actual American corpse to identify but he also stops you from gaining any intelligence in exchange for your participation.
Which is why there's no benefit for shooting civilians. Your goal isn't to kill people, it's just to be close to him. So you can shoot near civilians without ever killing any to look like you're shooting at them and it's good enough, and even if he sees and knows what you're doing he doesn't care because he knows you only matter for your corpse as long as the Russian people think you were shooting civilians.

I think the difference is that very few reasonable people actually thought the that the Trump audio would matter much at all.
It might not have been a total nothingburger, but as far as scandals go it was pretty whatever.
Shitty vulgar locker room talk is utterly forgettable compared to blaming someone for lying about being raped as a child.

One time I went to a decent restaurant with my uni department as an end of year thing. Some Japanese restaurant because Japanese lang dept.
I got a diet coke with my order because I was ordering stuff I hadn't tried and wanted a reliable clear if I didn't like something.
Did not expect it to be $8 for a regular can of diet coke. Just like a can with my food.
Wtf.
I felt weird when everyone ordered water or alcohol but didn't realize it was because they only had water or alcohol if you didn't want a literal single fucking can.
Worst part is we were told the department was paying for it as the celebration. Only told AFTER that the department was only paying for transport, and we had to pay our own bills. And me and another guy had to fucking drive ourselves anyways because they only had one van and limited seats.
