Same exact advice I give my cis friends - leave your first name off your resume when you apply. "J. Hacker" just seems like a swell fella, like he'd fit right into the team, while "Jane Hacker" just doesn't seem as personable for some reason that HR can't really explain.

When I consulted, he wouldn't do PPT primary, and after the botch, he said he could only do hybrid of PPT with hip skin grafts for half. They didn't offer conventional PPT at the time.

Former patient of Shane Morrison. Botched my full depth, he sewed my vagina shut before I woke from surgery, amputated labia minora tissue against my expressed consent, when I asked why the tissue was missing he said "I think you look great."

cparen

Get one. Many dozens of hours of various PTSD therapies has improved my relationships, brought back the ability to have some physical intimacy (minus remaining medical issues), and eliminated the frequent nightmares.

cparen

Thank you. I'm very lucky to have had good friends, good ptsd therapists, and found good surgeons to repair some of the damage.

cparen

Same thing happened to me. Made surgical deviations in direct violation of my consent. I should have taken more heed when he really pushed for something that he might do it anyway even after i declined.

I'm so sorry that happened to your the other patient.

When i asked about why he made one of the deviations, his exact words were "I think you look great."

It's too bad she can't publish. A lot of my friends and I would really go for an archive quality hardcover of the web comic series.

The comic helped me a lot through some tough times. I followed on tumblr so I could try and read each one as it came up. I always meant to sub on patreon - kinda regretting now that I didn't get around to it.

<3 out to her. I wish her the best of luck in her next endeavour.

It wouldn't help in terms of access to medical care. I've met intersex trans people -- diagnoses never improves access, and sometimes makes access harder as doctors can become nervous about further unknowns.

It's only been 8 months, but mine have had less anxiety, more open with feelings and advocating for their own needs. We've had more quality time together. I think both my coparent and myself are far less stressed and despite not saying or intentionally acting any differently, the energy in my house at least is just far more relaxed. I feel immensely better, and no matter how much we might try to look and feel like we're ok to isolate our children from it, nothing beats actually feeling secure and safe.

cparen

I don't think so. Originally, they said they would, but after they failed to construct any depth for me, they told me that PPT is not something they offer.

cparen

Just an update, I keep hearing through the community of more patients describing their results as 'botched' as well.

I reiterate my previous advice - Get everything in writing, and don't trust anyone that can't show pictures of previous work.

There’s this big fucking myth that cis men are just saying they’re trans and getting to compete in sports just so they can win. It’s fucking bullshit.

Call me chaotic, but I wish those mythical men would attempt it - every sport requires hormonal transition to compete in the women's league, and cis men on estrogen will experience severe depression. They'd either quit estrogen or... a self solving problem if you ask me.

cparen

Big hugs, and good luck. I've had friends like that too, the one A cup of the family. Genetic lottery is a b*tch.

cparen

this 100%. I grew up with cis girls. All my trans friends complaining only 3 years into puberty is giving me deja vu.

cparen

Welcome to puberty.

As a gal that grew up with girls, I already went through all this once decades ago when I was 15. Friends upset that girls half as far into puberty had twice the cup size. The anxiety is real, but know you're not alone, tons of girls 3 years into puberty have felt how you have, and most of them have quite a bit of breast development ahead of them. The whole "puberty finished in 2 years" thing is a medical myth.

(For reference, I'm 3.5 years in on HRT, B cup, was still an A cup at 2 years and, based on other women in my family, will probably reach C or D by 5 years in. I wish I could stay a B tho).

Also, I <3 my gal A2. I mean, it's fine if you love 2B, but A2 is my first love from NieR and she's gorgeous and perfect and sad but hopefully not alone and not everyone needs to be busty.

This. I don't really "get" gender, and I only dislike he/him because I'm trans and it always sounds transphobic to me. If I were stealth, I'd probably not care.

I love the song "She calls me daddy" just bc it's like, women are better dudes than dudes, and I can relate to that vibe.

cparen

For me, oral has always been a great warmup, but just doesn't build the same way. Is there anything wrong with using the vibe with the boyfriend helping out?

cparen

As my wife says, "you can't live your life out of fear of what others will think or do." Those terrible men that think like that will still be terrible and think things like that no matter what we wear. I wear what I wear for me, and for the benefit of other sapphic women my age to appreciate. Men can just suck it.

cparen

"No" is a complete sentence. I think you did great.

cparen

100% cisheteronormitivity. Anyone whose experienced both sides of the gender roles coin can tell you, people perceived as men just experience a colder existence, so every kind gesture towards men is seen as abnormal and needing further explanation.

There are good reasons for it too. OP was complimenting a friend, but a random stranger and you risk getting one of the 20% of men that feel entitled to more. Show a kindness, get rewarded with them hitting on you with gross comments, or worse.

cparen

Fan of bush, but prefer whatever makes my partner feel her best.

cparen

Bicolor with a smile, for sure (photo 6). Reminds me a little bit of Kate Micucci's style, and she's super adorable too.

cparen

This. A lot of times, it's nothing personal, and probably subconscious. The risk of male violence demands erring on the side of masculine when gendering people. If you sir a gal on her own, the worst that happens to you is you see some hurt feelings. If you ma'am a guy on his own, you might get assaulted.

cparen

If I were straight, I could have transitioned 2 decades earlier. I feel you. 💜

Try to hold in there, and get somewhere safer. It gets better.
