Overall a whole bunch of non rev sport freshman will get their scholarships pulled. Coaches still have jobs to do and 5th years are the better bet. Schools aren't going to be paying the 100k + per student in benefits they receive for players past the roster cap. I doubt it affects fall sports much since they are already in training camp but if I was a winter and especially a spring sport non rev incoming freshman athlete id be lookin over my shoulder
