Eu já me deixei pra trás também.

Tenho amigos que estão nessa situação até hoje. Quando estávamos nos 20s não faziam nada com a gente, sempre falando que agora era a hora de "focar" em algum objetivo X e que depois poderia aproveitar mais.
Chamávamos para festivais de música? Nossa muito sem graça, não tem música que eu gosto, é só pra quem bebe/usa droga.

Hoje ficam em casa ouvindo as músicas que eu ouvi ao vivo 10 anos atrás e falando "nossa, queria ter ido".

Falei um tempo atrás: bora ano que vem.

A resposta: Ah não tem música que eu gosto igual antigamente (que ele também não gostava), já não bebo igual antigamente.

Daqui 10 anos eles vão estar ouvindo o que está tocando hoje e vão falar exatamente a mesma coisa. Sempre deslocados do presente, pois o presente - que é onde se vive - nunca tem algo que pode dar satisfação para eles.

Pra muita gente o presente nunca é satisfatório, a verdadeira satisfação estava no passado, as vezes distante ou estará no futuro - caso um objetivo específico seja alcançado. Em um dado momento a vida me forçou a abrir meus olhos e meus ouvidos para o que está acontecendo no presente, com isso passei a ser bem mais feliz com as pequenas coisas do meu dia e passei a apreciar muito mais viver. Espero que isso possa acontecer com você também!
