"Doing the work is creation" does not mean what you're pretending it does. It wouldn't even mean that taken out of context, let alone in context.
Agree to disagree then.
What do you think it means then?

I initially read
has not been aired by any british television station for 17 years
as "not aired in the last 17 years". I guess the other commenter did the same
danielcw189
better save than sorry
I also mixed up some details initially

also könnte man die daraus entstehenden Ambivalenz so interpretieren:
1: Bär sagt: "..." oder
2: über Bär: "..."
aber zählt 2 dann noch als "direkt"?

If work is the rectangle and creation is the square, what does that mean for creation, in regards to whether it's work or not?
it would mean that every creation is work.
but it doesn't mean that every work is creation.
the claim above was that work is creation, so metaphorically, that rectangles are squares.
that isn't alwaya true, because not every rectangle is a square.
danielcw189
I don't see the contradiction.
What are you going for?
https://www.php.net/releases/#5.6.40
Support for any PHP 5 version ended 2019:
Support for PHP 5 has been discontinued since 10 Jan 2019
that was 5.6
0.3 versions before 5.6 would have been 5.3
5.3 is lower than 5.4, wo lower than PHP2Shell
so it adds up
danielcw189
danielcw189
But since creation would be the "square" in that analogy
and work would be any rectangke then.
the distinction is completely irrelevant
it is very relevant then. a lot of work is not creative.
the comment above wrote that doing work is creation. and that is not always true. it might even be false in most of the cases, in general
danielcw189
i was just going by the number and year my friend told me. Maybe I made an off by 1 error :)
2019 would be 5.6.
So it would have to be 0.3 versions older to be safe from PHP2Shell (and vulnerable by who onows what)
danielcw189
you inspired me to look it up.
unfortunately it wasn't a Tuesday :)
The first time I saw parts 1 and 2 they aired on a Wednesday and a Thursday. (I don't remember if I had recorded them or watched them live)
danielcw189
your CPU dice don't go from 0 to 5? :)
danielcw189
what are the modern alternatives / replacements?
danielcw189
for me it was just the next day :)
danielcw189
Andoria is Epsilon Indi, Tellar is 61 Cygni. So they're all about 10-15 light years from Earth.
how do we know?
danielcw189
and does being "worthy" matter for canon at all? in my experience that never mattered, when canon was discussed.
why do you think it didn't matter to the creators? why do you think it matterd to them before?
it does to hardcore fans still,
unworthy content should be deleted.
as a "hardcore" fan I don't agree.
danielcw189
und was willst Du damit sagen?
danielcw189
so there is definitely a distinction
danielcw189
the fix was taking it offline until any paying customer notices it :)

The [xkcd] comic came first
Thanks for the correction. In my mind I remembered them using the comic at aC3 talk, but I incorrectly remembered that being about a different issue. So I mixed up the timeline.
In fact the xkcd comic is 3 years older than the reveal of Sony's screwup
The PS3 random number issue didn't literally use 4
just to be clear: I wrote that it was another number.
it would fit perfectly
Pokemon GO's release was July 2016, and Chekov's actor died on the 19th of July
