You don't have to look deeper. The issue is that you're looking at a very specific 3D model system. Meaning an ai has to be trained to make those specific models.
However those dont exist (yet). There is Hunyuan 3D as well as other newer options. The current issue is translating the current (low poly) models to a rigged body. There are tools to do that, but like everything they are just not perfect enough.
Now if these models were just pure text setups, so like a JSON file of the specific model than perhaps you could train an LLM ai to make those files which could technically be translated back to 3D models. Which is doable. The issue arrive with the database that holds all that info. The ai has to know the difference between Hairlow_01 and Hairshort_02. Which parameters fit with what aspect.
So in conclusion its currently not feasible to do, unless you train it yourself. In the future there will hopefully be better models with autorigging.

I do! I don't own the newest Xbox or playstation, because their systems suck. My last was a PS3 (not counting Switch), it didn't have all that, so in that regard 'Yes it is new'

Yes, by not accepting it as the new normal. PS3 didn't have this crap, now they all do. It's like a threat that will grow until it's everywhere. Don't think it's true? Subways have rolling ads now in the tunnels, billboards have moving ads now, it's all becoming ads.

I see the normalisation of forced ads has begun. For now the user can uncheck the setting, but for how long? Google does this on their stream device, can't remove that.

Funnily my old beagle had once eaten a box of chocolate bonbons (like 10 pieces) she was fine after a couple days of diarrhea. The other time ate multiple pieces of licorice and was fine too. We went to the vet every time, and she held on. Died at 16 from lung cancer, she was one hell of a strong beagle dog.
