I think Saint Peter is one of those places where if it isn't for you, it just isn't for you. I always tell people that if they can afford it, it's worth a try, but personally I don't really rate them. But I also grew up eating fish at least once a week. I respect what Niland and his team are doing with the fish and it's certainly ~revolutionary~ in Western cooking, but it's not mind-blowing to me. The friends I went with were RAVING about the food.
I'd rather eat at Fish Butchery, funny enough.

God, the number of changes that get pushed through because someone set an arbitrary deadline and no one engaged the right stakeholders so when the breaks happen downstream...
Suddenly everything is "not their fault" because "it is working as designed".

You know, I never expected the Granny Smith apple to be local to me. Like, a 15 minute train ride local.

Yeah I generally get my hair cut to shoulder length and sometimes I want to cut even shorter, like a bob or something, but then I think about how much time and money that would be compared to getting a haircut every ~6 months so I just... don't do it. lol.

Been sweating since 8am. I might not survive this summer.
Which is what I say every summer, and yet I'm still here.
darkeyes13
Edit......Well I jinxed myself. Fitted sheet is now a shitted sheet. Noisy Miner just crapped on it. SMH.
Thoughts and prayers to you in this difficult time.

God, LOTR:TTT and ROTK were some of the most fun movie tie-in games I ever played. The number of hours my cousin and I sunk into this game... she'd always get first dibs on Legolas so I'd play Aragorn until Gandalf was unlocked.
I'm pretty sure I still have my (bootleg) disc of the PC version at home. I remember that one being a bit weird because they forced you to play as Sam for every level, even the ones that wasn't the Hobbits storyline. Turns out it was some glitch with the crack files back in the day, LOL.

Would it, though? To implement that would be to write specifically for each player race, which means more lines needed, more variation, etc. Either you get the game we got but with a different PC skin (people will complain about how changing player race/species does nothing to the story, or they throw a bone or two but it will never be enough) or you get an even shorter, shallower main story because they're too busy writing to the specifics of the playable character.
Andromeda was doomed from the start. People expected it to have everything the entire ME trilogy had. In one game. I actually think if you compare MEA and ME1 in a vacuum (pretend ME1 never had sequels), MEA presents a more complete story.
I say this as someone who still thinks the ME trilogy are the best series of games of all time.

Reminds me of Perth Airport, actually.

Oh, and whether it's a tournament or friendly factors in to the adjustment as well. But I can't remember if they take into account whether it's a regional (eg. Asian Games vs Women's Asian Cup/Euros) or global (Olympics/WWC) tournament.
There's probably a methodology page linked to the full ranking list.

It's basically some combination of goals scored, location (Home, Away, Neutral venue), relative rank of opponents and some adjustment based on the teams' respective Confederations.

Me, reading the headline: Oh, I wonder if it's bigger than 1MDB.
Me, reading the first paragraph: I wonder if this is the yacht is the one related to Jho Low.
Me, reading the rest of the article: ....
Fuck all these fuckers.

I need to continue watching it. A French friend of me recommended it to me years ago and I started but I stopped early on because life and work was getting crazy.

St Cats is closer to campus if that matters to you.

Rachel Dratch was originally cast as Jenna Maroney in the 30 Rock pilot. The network told Tina Fey to recast the role because they didn't think Dratch was a good fit.
I love Dratch, but Jane Krakowski made Jenna Maroney iconic - I can't imagine a different version of Jenna. Would her whole life be thunder???

Cake day twin! Happy Cakeday!

Thank you, Cakey! I promise no Cakey1s will be consumed on this cake day.

I like this weather. Especially when I'm indoors and can enjoy the sound of the rain. Or if I have to be outdoors, when I'm dressed appropriately in wet weather gear.

Fuck. I've been boycotting DC since the way they handled the JH Williams III/W Haden Blackman Batwoman title. But I can't say no to Mackenzie Davis.

I don't know if Fortress Sydney has Fire Emblem and I don't think you can rent a console to bring home, but they do allow you to reserve time to use their consoles. Maybe gove them a call?
City of Sydney library system rents out consoles and games but I don't think they do recent consoles/games.

G5E is actually my favourite of the post-30 Rock Fey/Carlock (and associates) comedy. And I've found myself rewatching Reggie Dinkins fairly often.
I thought I'd like Mr Mayor more but it didn't land for me.

There's a Kiwi/Australian game show called Guy Mont Spelling Bee which is about as close to HOMONYM as we will get.
darkeyes13
Oh no. How did it happen?!

Must be how their credit policy is written, then. Lending is indeed governed under Responsible Lending rules, which have tightened again recently, but really that's more to take liabilities into account in general and not just income.
I can't comment on how Bendigo operates (whether their branch staff are actually empowered to know and assess applications like yours, or if they have a specific credit assessment team) but I reckon it's a Bendigo-specific oddity. Unless you've had a heap of unsecured credit applications recently that have been knocked back or other things that cause banks to raise eyebrows when looking at your credit file, based on the information you've shared, I can see other (bigger) banks being willing to lend to you.
I remember having KFC in, like, Kelantan or Kuala Terengganu or something (basically, on the north-eastern coast of Peninsular Malaysia) and it was really good because they use kampung chicken lol.
