You might want to get assessed for ADHD and auditory processing disorder.

This is for age 25-30, not 35-40. All those bands are from when people aged 25-30 were little kids, not high schoolers.

THANK YOU. OP comes across as so self-centered and lacking in empathy for her mom and sister.
darknesskicker
Yeah, it comes across as OP getting pissy that she’s not allowed to be mad at them for their disability traits or see those traits as character flaws anymore.
I am really wondering how much of the emotionally unstable behaviour from OP’s family members comes from OP engaging in microaggressions (or not-so-micro-aggressions) regarding her mom and sister’s ADHD traits.
My experience is that when family members engage in those sorts of microaggressions, the harm they are doing is completely invisible to them, so if I get upset they think it’s coming out of nowhere.

Agree. I was not sexually abused by a family member ever, but I’ve had complicated relationships with predators and taken too long to end contact with them. I’ve also experienced non-sexual familial abuse.
People maintain relationships with abusers for all kinds of reasons. And when you are as young as OP, financial and physical survival can be a factor. OP’s boyfriend is abusive and does not have the emotional intelligence, life experience, or respect for her that are necessary to understand that she has reasons for her choices, reasons that are not “supporting a pedophile.”

I have this problem too. I like Rimmel Kind & Free Stay Matte Skin Tint. I only use moisturizer at night, and I use one that is meant for oily skin.

You are not the one with a disability. Stop centering yourself and expecting them to centre you. Process this with a therapist, not them.
darknesskicker
Absolutely not. That colour is cool. So is the grey. Your colouring is extremely warm. The off-white is the only colour that might be okay.

Deep Autumn, with some ability to “cheat” into Deep Winter and maybe some darker Soft Autumn colours. The lighter Soft Autumn colours wash you out though.

I changed into ballet flats for the reception.
darknesskicker
Get fitted ones. I’m not sure they’re in style right now, but they were popular in the ‘90s and ‘00s so are probably available in vintage shops.

Honestly, the way they’re placed (especially the centre one) could be mistaken for a six-pack at a distance. I wouldn’t be fazed by them. The colour is close to your skin tone and people on a beach with you are usually not super physically close to you.

I agree that there are a lot of lapsed Christians and people who were baptized into a Christian denomination but don’t really hold all the beliefs. I think this is more of a thing with people raised Catholic or mainline Protestant than with people who are raised evangelical, because evangelicalism requires a greater amount of commitment in terms of lifestyle, beliefs, and community participation.
My husband IDs as Catholic but it’s more cultural than religious for him—it’s how he was raised. But he’s not sure if the supernatural is real, and my going from progressive Christian to atheist over the course of our relationship hasn’t been a problem for us at all.

Canadian (living in Germany) here. I would guess at least half the people I know back in Canada had their wisdom teeth out as teens. I have never heard of anyone actually having long- term complications. Doctors and dentists legally have to tell you all possible risks of a surgery here in Germany, but in reality many of the risks they mention are very rare.

Sometimes dyspraxia does, in fact, place either hard limits or practical limits on what we can learn to do. (Practical limits can include requiring a truly enormous amount of time to attain minimal levels of skill.) It depends a lot on how severely we’re affected in the specific type of motor skill involved.

Update: the 3 month ban I issued earlier did not take effect because trying to mod Reddit on mobile is super buggy for me. In the light of the person’s second comment I used my computer to permaban them.

Soft Spring. I knew from the first set of photos because my husband is also a Soft Spring.

Tell her it would be disrespectful to God and Christianity to baptize you when you don’t believe.

I think it looks nice, but you could blend it with a paler blue going a bit above where it is now.

I actually know of a surgeon whose first name is a tragedeigh version of Tiffany.

Ob/gyn had a flat affect but took you absolutely at your word and was careful and thorough? I’m autistic, and I’m wondering if she is too. Keep her—autistic women know what it’s like to be dismissed by doctors and are therefore unlikely to be dismissive or invalidate you.

If something like this happens again, just report under “breaks a group rule” or whatever, and I or one of the other mods will look at it and should be able to tell what’s wrong.

I don’t have advanced singing training, but I have enough choral singing experience to know Taylor can go more than half an octave below the lowest notes in most alto parts in choral music.
The alto parts in music I have sung typically bottomed out at G3. Taylor hits C3 multiple times on TTPD. I have enough range that I tell choir directors to place me in alto or soprano based on which section needs more people, and I can’t hit every note in I Can Fix Him or Smallest Man. In Smallest Man I have to sing the chorus and part of the bridge up an octave.
darknesskicker
In layman’s terms: she can sing several notes below where the alto parts in choral music typically bottom out.
That means she can sing a lot lower than most women who are not professional singers, although it’s not super uncommon for elite female pop stars to be able to hit those notes. (Lady Gaga and Kesha both can, for example.)
Don’t get advice about women from other men. Get it from women, and not from brainwashed tradwives.
The manosphere is designed to keep dating success out of reach so that guys keep coming back to the manosphere for more advice. Women hate manosphere men. They’re one of our biggest turnoffs. If you spout manosphere talking points or treat us like manosphere guys do, we will dump you to preserve our own safety, because the behaviour manosphere people recommend is harmful and degrading to women.
