I look forward to him as well. But I think he will be Dara 2.0 with the occasional filthy mouth.

It's a mixed bag here as well, just a different mix.

Start with the bare necessities. You need something to sleep on and a microwave to heat up some dinner. Virtually everything else will be secondary. You'll come here and find Daiso for a fork, a bowl, and some chopsticks. You'll find Nitori or Ikea for cheap-ish furniture. And you'll definitely want to explore your second hand stores in the area, look for Hard-Off or Second Street, for a lot of the stuff you only need for 2 years. They may even have refrigerators and washers. So don't spend big up front.

Install Anki flashcard app and look for a flag set on Google.

Salty won't cover it. Positively acidic with heavy guilt trips and plenty of sharp intakes of breath. Prepare yourself for your pariah status.

The real problem is taking flags as stand-in for languages. This hardly ever works and this example shows why it's a dumb idea. I'm not defending the Bosch engineers and the other flag choices are dog poop too. I find the mangled US flag way worse than Canada for French though.

French (or what the Quebecers think that is) is an official language of Canada. If this product is only sold in North America, this is not an unreasonable choice.

TikTok ≠ reality. And the videos are so short you don't see the possible 45min makeup sesh that preceded it, nor the editing and applying of filters that followed.

The top one is on the phone. The bottom one is with your mouth and out loud. That can still be "to call" in English. A phrase where shouting rather then dialing was implied would probably include an object. So that's why ringer is the solution that makes sense here. Get yourself an online dictionary to check the nuances of the given words.

It's a Jules-Pierre Maoist trick to expose the non-Trekkies in this thread.

Energy wasn't a concern for the ring builders. And this is sci-fi tech. I don't think we never find out why it doesn't orbit the sun (but orbits with the rest of the galaxy, I suppose). And ships transit like none of this matters as well. The bubble of the ring space makes everything nice and smooth for passage. The authors have bypassed the laws of physics by reversing the polarity of the Heisenberg collectors with warp particles.

I don't think there is an automated way to do this. But there is a way to get it done well without having to eye ball it. Draw a square, rotate it 45°, duplicate it, enable snapping to nodes, and move it into the vicinity of the nodes you want to adjust. You may have to fiddle with the snap settings so strokes align with nodes. When it's in the right position, subtract the square from your drawing (Ctrl+-). Rinse and repeat. Do this after you're done with path effects. You may need to convert your object to path before you do this and then you can no longer make any adjustments in that menu. It'll definitely convert to path when you subtract anything from it.

Screw everything I've said and go with u/Schnippendorff 's suggestion! Good night!

Go forward or backward a version number and see it it doesn't crash. If you break apart the initial trace of your object, you'll probably end up with two objects that will be roughly okay. Try that on the trace before you outset it. You can set the fill to transparent and give it a stroke. Try that and see if you're happy with that. Save-as your progress though before you do anything crazy.

Patience! Good things come to those who wait. This will be a be a gradual process. As a stop gap measure you can get the RSS feeds of news organizations on Mastodon, e.g. the BBC News'. It's not the immediacy of birdsite yet. But there are a few European publications who are getting their feet wet on there already, others will follow.
People don't like change. Every new platform needs staff and a budget to feed content into. These decisions take time. The revolution has only just begun.

Nonsense has a way of sticking in your mind.

You appear to have an object there with a fill you're making thicker with the outset function. Go back to the trace stage and choose a centerline trace. It should create a single stroke of the course where nodes stay separate even if the thickness of the lines makes it look like they're overlapping. Alternatively, draw over your drawing right now with the bezier tool. If accuracy is in eye ball territory you can set your own nodes slightly further outwards where the track is in danger of running together.

So it would've accepted either version I wrote but not the mix-up of the two OP wrote.

You didn't ask about consensus, you asked if this was the worst flag in use. Worst by which standard? A flag is a bit of cloth you can tie to a stick that represents something. This ticks all those boxes.
The rules for good flag making we like in this sub were made after many flags were created. They are a guideline, not gospel. Looking at every flag only through this prism is not helpful.

German is a gendered language. That means job titles will pretty much always have a masculine and a feminine version. Friseur and Friseurin are the respective versions for a hairdresser.

You take a break, watch something else, and then start over.

Then force the issue with the hotel. Tell them about the strongly worded review you're drafting if they don't help you with this. This wasn't reflective of the world famous Japanese service you had heard of. Don't tame your inner Karen too much, don't just take no from the little people. There is a hierarchical pyramid's worth of managers you can meet in the process. (The reason why they might be reluctant to help is because only residents may schedule an oversized garbage pickup from their ward office, businesses need to find their own way of disposing of big stuff at a charge. And my guess is the staff all live elsewhere and don't feel like taking your old suitcase home with them. I wouldn't admit to knowing that in conversation, nor would I accept that as a reason while in Karen mode - they must have a way to dispose of big stuff, broken chairs, mattresses, etc. Just so you know what you're up against.)
Somebody else suggested putting it in a locker and leaving it there. If you do that make sure the suitcase is left open so it's clear it's not anything more nefarious. That goes for any abandonment solution you pick.

It probably would've been accepted. But you effed the spelling on Rollschuhe and that's why this got counted wrong. Duo just tells you one accepted answer, not what your answer should've been.
Calm your nerves. Read "our for delivery" as "cleared for delivery, going to do that next." Sagawa-san is going to come to your door, probably tomorrow or the day after if you're out in the sticks. If you're not home they will leave a delivery notice in your mailbox. With that you can reschedule delivery if you missed it. You probably won't have to go anywhere, all you have to do is wait.
