Gardeck the only edge that generates pressure, very concerning

Well deserved loss, defense got bitched all game

I was the same way, I was running 1-2 blue cores but my damage was horrendous. You will die a lot but you will also learn how to position better and know when you can push your limits as far as the health gate goes. Another weapon to consider is caduceus, the healing you get plus armor on kill from the minigun skill tree can be very nice and keep you in the fight. Coyotes mask is really good, especially in team play when you are buffing your entire squad. I ran it exclusively but once I found a pair of overdogs I don’t think I can ever take them off lol. Happy to help

My first recommendation would be to try and obtain overdogs exotic gloves, they are a must have imo. Coyotes mask is also really solid option. I run my striker with over dogs gloves and salvo holster and it shreds. Another good piece to have is equalizer named chest piece to pair with salvo for the 2 piece bonus to ar damage and rate of fire. One of the biggest boosts in power I gave my striker was running banshee pulse and decoy. The cc and space those 2 abilities can give you is way more valuable than shield and revive combo imo. I would also recommend ditching the blue core and going full red, one armor core is negligible imo while the damage drop off is clearly noticeable.

Any realistic trade options for another safety? I feel like having another dog opposite AJ puts this defense over the top. (Assuming our pass rush shows up eventually)

ugly win but a win. on to next week

Brutal watch. Between obnoxious amounts of penalties and easily the worst commentating job I have had to suffer through in 25 years of watching football

dcWitness

announcer sounds like he is going to break down in tears

dcWitness

just massive gaping holes in our defense

dcWitness

dcWitness

dcWitness

im not normally one to criticize announcers but this duo is unbearable

dcWitness

this is insane man

first time armstead has touched a qb in 3 years

gunner by far, armor on kill, ammo replenish, and banshee pulse. I don't think I can run striker without banshee at this point

The game is honestly really good. The gameplay loop is really addicting. It takes some time to kind of get the hang of all the games systems and the game can definitely be overwhelming at times. But once you figure things out and start finding stuff you want to build or min/max the game really shines. That said the game does have its fair share of bugs and bs, but for the price it can’t be beat.

Your foundation is solid. Striker is still the best all around set in the game, a few tweaks and you will be in good shape. I wouldn’t worry too much about prototype gear unless you see something specific you want in rotation. Focus on getting your watch leveled up, you are leaving a ton of crucial stats on the table being low levels.

Overdogs would be a huge upgrade. Coyotes mask is also a pretty solid option to run as you improve your build. I would do something different for knee pads as well. I run fenris knees on my striker for the bonus to ar damage, but ceska/grupo/unit alloys is solid as well.

You should be able to do it right away. If you go to the power plant countdown mission (near top right of map) there should be a prompt to select targeted loot. On PC it is "H." From there you can select any gear set or weapon type from a menu, only a few modes are guaranteed to drop you your targeted loot though. Retalliation, countdown, and summit will drop your selected loot while the rest of the missions will be on a rotating loot pool.

I also came from Destiny even though I have played a lot of Div 2 over the years. The map can be pretty overwhelming but just give it time, you will get the hang of the end game and connect the dots.

You can definitely compete with just a basic striker setup and a decent exotic like coyote mask. You will be squishy as hell and die a lot but all that should matter is getting the boss loot to drop. Once you have a decent build just load into dark zones until you find an active one and then just follow a group around. During the boss fight if you go down just stay down until the boss dies if you don’t think you can make it back to the fight in time. The drops will still be there once you respawn, then you can go scoop them up.
With that said this event will probably be pretty miserable for someone that isn’t relatively strong.

I would recommend deciding on a gear set you want to build around. Aces and 8s or striker are my go to builds right now, select whatever set you decide as your targeted loot, and then spam retaliations at the highest difficulty you can manage. You will get a ton of solid gear, exp, blueprints, and resources. Then once you have a decent foundation to work with switch target loot to whatever piece you want and repeat.

I read the post, I also continue to get several overlords nearly every run even after clearing my vault.
