Thank you for the support. It’s pretty interesting seeing people on the fence because I didn’t platform their beliefs as if what they’re asking matters in this context.

They could have asked me to post a message saying literally anything, but through this context, it’s still wrong. That being said; it’s not a message about something I would ever support, especially when the conversation demanding support includes racial slurs.

Honestly, I’m to the point I’m more interested in getting the extortion part handled moreso than the reviews. Steam still hasn’t said anything.

Still waiting to hear from Steam unfortunately. I’m assuming that it’s taking longer because it’s a legal matter and not something a standard support agent can deal with, but I wish they would say something about it.

Thank you! The overall gaming community has definitely stepped up and it's amazing to see. It's hard to have words to describe how much it has meant to me.

Full honesty; while I never fly off the handle or anything, I definitely get a little less calm about an hour or so in. It's nearly 3am at that point, and it definitely started to get on my nerves listening to the things they were spewing.

I wish I was smart enough to come up with something like this, honestly. I don't think there's any dev out there that would risk their daily deal for something like this.

I have a case number with my local PD, dropping off a hard drive of the evidence, including the full recording of the call today.

I’ve been told from a few people claiming to be in Australia that it’s essentially a renamed white nationalist group.

They said the N bomb in the discord chat during the call, and when I called it out, they repeated it multiple times while laughing about it and saying it was a word that had no racial meaning where they come from.

They should know, unless they can’t remember what they said during the call, haha.

When I was like 7 or 8, I was playing Final Fantasy 7, and there’s a part where you’re on a large boat. I talked to Barret, and he told me to talk to people on the boat to pass the time.

I ran about that damn boat talking to every NPC for what felt like literal hours. No one was progressing the story. I went into every room, talked to every NPC, over and over… but I never tried simply talking to Barret again.

I appreciate the advice. They haven’t really gotten to me at all, truthfully. It might not come off that way because I’m posting things like this, but I’ve been in game dev for over 5 years in the public sphere now. I handle negative reviews daily, this just isn’t really what it is about at this point for me.

I’ve actually had a support ticket open since Friday with no response unfortunately.

If what they did is illegal where they are (most believe AUS), is there still a chance they could be held liable if I file a report and press charges and they are able to be found?

To be specific; they do not seem very good at hiding their identities, cover their tracks, etc. multiple random internet users have already tried to send me their personal information (doxxing them) which I’m obviously not doing anything with, but just to say I don’t think it will be difficult for any agency to actually find them

It's an interesting scenario that just keeps going.

They are now trying to claim I'm lying about what they said because I censored it, and even tried to goad me in to releasing the full unedited video (which would platform their agenda) by calling me a chicken. Like, come on, lol.
