My Dr. said it would potentially increase the lower number by around 5 points. AI seems to suggest that it'll change around 5 points to the higher number (systolic) and 2 for the lower (diastolic). Your reference about saline isn't relevant since the saline is going in along with water in a concentration that approximates the existing concentration in the blood. The reason the ssalt changes the blood pressure is that it absorbs into the blood and the body then adjusts the concentration by adding/removing water from the bloodstream because the salt concentration of the blood is important for brain function. Same reason that drinking 1+ gallon of water quickly can kill you

I got light headed while working out and figured out I have mild POTS. Now I take a 1g salt tablet with my supplements (as well as various sources of potassium and magnesium) and the issue mostly resolved. This is not the greatest idea if your blood pressure is already high though. Hows your saturated fat intake?
Making sure I'm hydrated and have eaten some complex carbs before working out is helpful too. A hard workout while fasted would make me feel like crap for a couple hours afterwards.

Better than $30 / kg for creatine? If you already have a plastic tub and/or are happy with it coming in a bag, I think its a bit cheaper on amazon from like "bulk supplements", etc.. Might be a quality differnce if you care about the purity though.
For protein, you can maybe make that claim for whey but specifically but not everybody tolerates it.

Nice view and a good bar at Johnny's Harborside. While they have a good burger, it isn't burger focused. Olitas, as already mentioned, is also a solid choice. Also, more of a brunch vibe but people like the Bloody Mary's at Aldo's Harbor Restaurant and they have some good fish tacos and seafood sandwiches. Some of their food is mediocre but you can't beat the outdoor location on a nice day.

Snus use has been linked to an increased risk of oral, esophageal, and pancreatic cancers. Snus use has been associated with an increased risk of heart failure, type 2 diabetes, and increased mortality following myocardial infarction and stroke.

no it is nitrosamines that get created from nitrates in the presence of specific proteins under curing conditions. the levels can vary greatly and "nitrate free" is mostly a labeling sham where the get the nitrates from celery or beet powder which doesn't require labeling but still contains nitrates (in less reliable amounts, potentially resulting in even greater nitrosamine production).

"As a result, the use of CP alone or together with synthetic nitrite in HTS production does not reduce the risk of nitrosamines."

You are deflecting because you can't find clear evidence to refute the specific claims.

Oh hey look, there's a reference to Peter McCullough in your "source". Lets go read about some of his greatest hits:

From retracted journal articles to BS "spike protein detox" snake oil he's grifting. Great source!

Have fun with those goal posts bud. You're not engaging in a good faith debate.

One counterexample. I'm sure there are more.

And he’s an incredibly kind soul.
I'll add to the chorus that I watched him get uncomfortably friendly with a college-aged female student in a coffee shop one day like 10-15 years ago. Nothing too crazy but tone deaf that his advances weren't really wanted (e.g. offering to share hand lotion unprompted).

You're talking about treatment though, yes? Typically Peters focus is prevention. I'm not expert but I don't think there's much in the way of specifics on long covid prevention. It also sounds like others in this thread are making arguments that there's not much in the way of conclusive studies on treatment either.

Unfortunately I think he's past the "building an audience by providing the best information" stage and moved into the "cashing out on the built audience" stage. COVID content is bad for business for the reasons you mentioned and there's also no much info on how to respond to these problems because of the newness. That's my take anyways.

So where do we go now that the internet is getting polluted by engagement bias? Are there any clean information sources left?

Well the lot itself is spacious but the way people drive in it.. I vote for Costco parking lot. Something about costco makes people simultaneously unaware of their surroundings and either rushing around or just sitting there spacing out blocking traffic. With the carts too

Its not hard but it is fiddly and involves doing research. A little vlan magic? What?
I'm a software developer and have been working in networking related companies for many years. I have some light bulbs and switches that I operate with Alexa through a zigbee hub. As a general principle, I'd make this stuff more private if I could but WTF are you talking about "a little VLAN magic"?

Really? Probably depends on the bag but their streetlevel and one other one that I forget was really hard on my empty stomach (grumble, grumble) which is a light roast thing for me. I can't do the acidity of light roasts on an empty stomach.
Generally I roast all my own coffee but my roaster was down a couple years ago so I took the opportunity to try their stuff and, to my eye, even the beans they label dark roast are light/med color with no surface oils.

Follow your doctor's specific instructions. It varies! There will be rules about what you can eat a few days beforehand.
You can probably have apple juice and clear popsicles right up to the time you have to completely stop everything.
The stuff you have to drink is pretty gross if you taste it. I chilled mine, drank it through a straw and bit a thin slice of lime afterwards. Very helpful!
Overall it wasn't painful but the laxative part was fairly uncomfortable and really messed up my sleep. For the timing of mine I took it 1/2 before bed and q/w when I woke up and it didn't kick in properly for the first half so I was like waiting to have diarrhea but also falling asleep.
It shouldn't be painful but your butthole can get raw so put a tub of vaseline by the toilet and lube it up after wiping.

A square is a type of rectangle but a rectangle is not necessarily a square. Dementia is a type of mental illness but a mentally ill person may not necessarily have early dementia.
In other words, as much as you might like to categorize it that way, "mentally ill" is not one thing.
hah. I was just sharing information. I did a few sets of squats here and there but remembering to do this every 45 minutes and executing on it seems quite a challenge
