Primero que todo, perdón por alguna falta de tildes, no tengo como escribirlos en este teclado.

Soy inmigrante. Llegue a Valencia hace casi 6 meses, aunque originalmente emigre hace casi 7. Personalmente detesto el termino "expat" porque lo considero clasista/racista pero esa es otra discusión mas larga y complicada. Personalmente, y por razones obvias, no creo que la inmigración sea un problema en si. Lo que si realmente me molesta es la gente que se muda a otros países y que no hace un mínimo esfuerzo en integrarse o siquiera en intentar aprender el idioma local. Ni que hablar los "nómadas digitales" que viven meses sin pagar impuestos (aunque tampoco tienen los beneficios de la seguridad social, sanidad etc).

Lo que si creo que no se ha mencionado en este hilo y si es importante es que, detrás de cada alquiler hay un propietario intentando extraer el mayor beneficio sin importarle mas nada. Los precios de las viviendas han aumentado, no porque hay mas "expats" sino porque hay especulación inmobiliaria. Tampoco se ha mencionado que los inmigrantes muchas veces tampoco tenemos mas opción que pagar alquileres altos. Hay muchos propietarios que, aunque tengas un contrato de trabajo local, se rehúsan a alquilarte a menos que tengas (varias) nominas en España. Esto hace que te veas obligado a pagar mas de lo necesario por no tener otra alternativa.

Finalmente, quiero recordarles que también hay muchos españoles que emigran y tienen el mismo efecto en otras ciudades que la gente nueva que llega a Valencia. El alza de los precios se da por gente que llega de afuera, sean o no "guiris".
