Eskiden anadolunun ufak kasabalarından gelmiş çok öğrenci vardı. 2006 girişliyim 2015e kadar ODTÜdeydim, öğrenci profilinin yavaş yavaş değişimini gözlerimle gördüm. 2010larda bile düşük gelirli burs bulamayan öğrencilerin part time çalışıp okulu bitirememe döngüsüne girmesi çok yaygındı, şuan herhalde imkansız durumdadır.

Which SK??

Yeah, they can't comprehend having to pay 50% more mortgage payment while being on centrelink looking for a job for months.

High inflation doesn't have to lead to high unemployment. The real issue with rate rises is that they hit the wrong target group the hardest. The solution should include fiscal policy

Wrongy unemployment affects all economy. It will suppress wage growth for almost all and even small businesses.

Solution is fiscal not monetary.

No wages aren't increasing as fast as inflation

Who gives a shit about unemployment and overall economy, right?

There were little to none Turkish population were left in the islands by the time.

The real problem is wealth inequality and accumulation, but noone is talking about it and the potential solutions are too unpopular (like inheritance tax or broad land tax)

Wages aren't going up fast enough. Even if they did it still doesn't matter because wealth inequality is getting worse faster than wages going up.

15000 is nothing compared to the millions of people living in India. Also they mostly kept marrying locals and their Turkic identity is lost in a couple generations.

It is naive to think that they will ever be affordable

Mentally it is

Effective but in 10 years you will probably need shoulder surgery unless you have impeccable genetics.

I see legal kings cruising along the middle harbour shoreline all the time. They get crazy and swarm on the tailors I catch but just ignore anything I throw afterwards (I almost exclusively use micro jigs with 15 lb leader nowadays). After December the rats start coming in.

Live squid is better but using bait is too boring for me.

Mate, it has nothing to do with that. I even tested using 15lb, it makes no difference unless you are finesse fishing under 8-10 lb.

I usually catch a few in middle harbour during winter at deeper spots (10-15 metres). Inreckon they come close when the water gets cooler.

Once you go heavy enough leader thickness doesn't matter anymore. I don't think the fish will prefer 40 lb vs 80 lb.

So they want something worse than current labor?

Replacing it with a land tax is not the same thing as removing it simply.

I am not a native speaker but I could understand what it would mean from the context. That was lazy writing.

One thing Australia must do is slowly become more independent so can be more resilient to global shocks when they occur.

That's not feasible in today's economy. When the minimum wage is so high compared to asian countries you can't manufacture anything competetively without making everything much more expensive.
