I hope they will find out in the future how seemed Armenians acquired the Indo European language from the Yanmaya without aquiring their DNA.

Kurdish with 30% AASI? Wut?

dhamon

G25 separates them better. Illustrative didn't do it well.

Don't use the global calculator, use Italy South or East Europe. These results are pretty worthless.

Ireland

HG and farmer? Results are weird.

dhamon

Yes, and 22% Zagros? Illustrative needs a better update.

dhamon

Just check the PCA chart. They plot almost identically.

Don't use the global calculator

Bulgarians are the least Slavic of the Slavic speaking countries. They are 30-40% Slavic. You could include North Macedonians in there as well, since they are essentially Bulgarians.

dhamon

What calculator are you using?

dhamon

Do you identify as pardo?

Like anywhere else in Europe it's highly location based. If I had to make an educated guess, it would be 10-15% Germanic, 15-25% Celtic, 5-10% Balkan and the remaining majority Slavic.

DNA testing services like 23andMe only serve to identify modern populations. Since Slovenes have Germanic admixture due to their location close to Germanic countries it's already baked in to the newest 23andMe results. The newer results are more accurate overall and nailed you perfectly. Illustrative DNA can vary with people of mixed ancestry, so take their results with a large grain of salt. The Egyptian 0.3% is noise, and would have been selected out from ancient Roman times.

You missed the part where Sephardi's moved to Iberia from Central Europe Post bottleneck and then were expelled during the inquisition. Then Sephardi's moved to North Africa/Ottoman empire where Mizrachi's had lived for a thousand plus years. They mixed somewhat with Mizrachi's and since Sephardi's has the prestige culture many Mizrachi's became Sephardic.

Population distance maybe, everything else is not great.

dhamon

Google really messed up here letting this bug into the release.

dhamon

You'll see Y haplogroups that originated from that populations, otherwise not so much.

dhamon

Your phenotype is typically Scottish, it looks like that quarter southern italian didn't make it.

dhamon

AG is hilariously wrong.

dhamon

Other Jewish groups and then Southern Italians.

Zagros is too low and no natufian... The wife's mother might be half Ashkenazi half Slavic or illustrative's calculator is bad for mixed people.

The earliest proto-turkic speakers were probably originally Ancient Northeast Asians who spread west admixing with West Eurasians. But, we don't know for sure yet until more samples are sequenced.
