$0/month with new phone usually indicates trade-in but you said no trade-in which confuses me.
dinoaide
Something is not right if there is no trade-in and you expect the bill could go down.
dinoaide
It is retroactive and you’ll receive a text message when the trade-in is complete.

So you get the discount now, but not in previous months because the discount was applied to a wrong account or not applied at all since the original address before TOBR and the address on the other account doesn’t match?
Try to ask for one-time credit instead of fixing previous bills (which the rep cannot do).

You have to pay off the balance if you use AT&T’s installment. But if you use Apple’s or another third party and choose not to pay off the remaining balance, AT&T’s monthly installment and credit will continue. It is just as if you buy a replacement phone.
dinoaide
Ask for a replacement device since the IP is tied to the IMSI.

It is like that Subaru signed a master enterprise contract with AT&T to provide connections to Subaru owners so the usage info goes to Subaru (since they pay for #connections in the first 12 or 24 months). But there is never an agreement to provide actual usage info to the end user because 95% of people are not interested in knowing how much the car uses each month.
On the surface it seems to be a very easy thing to do but in order to do this you need to record the customer’s info such as the email address, phone number then VIN and the IMSI to make the final connection. A lot of privacy information there and it seems to be beyond the authority of a regular customer rep.

Pretty smooth experience. I upgraded at the end of September online and then returned my old phone with the included trade-in kit and prepaid label two weeks ago. I already received the digital shop card last week through text and also got a message that my trade-in was completed today.

It is also for protection since call center people now receive robo calls from Muse or other AI software to ask for credits or lower monthly bills and some workers are overwhelmed.

There is no low cost way to centralize the data. Either you pay for a very powerful lakehouse platform, or hire a capable team, which is costly.
“Everyone put data together” usually means disasters down the road.

If you use AT&T installment you may need to go to the AT&T trade-in portal and do it yourself. Bestbuy’s own trade-in is very different and gives you only the fair value of the phone.

Unfortunately this is the look of GVC. People say it is nicer to your eyes. Samsung G9N will be bluish white.

I used the Mod NX on 12PM. At first it fit tightly. But after a few months it became loose. I think it doesn’t worth $40.

You are fine. My order also starts with 23. When you receive the phone, it will come with a Costco insert. And after you activate your service (or maybe after the first bill), Costco will send you a digital gift card through text message in a few weeks.

Unless you work in the law enforcement and have some special devices or a police car with car mount FirstNet devices, otherwise it is almost the same as regular phones. There was a time the regular network was upgraded to 5G but FirstNet is still LTE only. It seems FirstNet will remain as LTE for a longer time so there is no real benefit since most of the time you are actually using the regular 5G network.

Once you start your device for the first time.
dinoaide
Yes. Costco gives you a $50 bill credit and another $100 shop card on top of the trade-in promotion.

There is a special team to deal with port issues and they work 7 days a week. Usually this means your port is stuck at some stage related with either number release from T-Mobile or trunk/NPA sync issues. There is nothing you can do if the number is already released since in some cases it takes from 24 hours to 5 days to clear the entire port process.

Don’t. Duo might be out of stock for some time in which case you’ll run out of your 30-day trade-in window. Technically your trade-in window will extend with the exchange, but the stake is too high in case something goes wrong.
dinoaide
This👍 I wonder what happens if the old phone doesn’t work one day due to a cracked screen or anything.
dinoaide
Let me be honest with you, but 99% of time you are not within 500ft of any mmWave site in the US.

Saving to the cart has no use since orders are ranked by the SKU and order time. Ordering from Costco will generate a different offer code.
dinoaide
Items in the cart expire in 24 hours.

Same thing happened to me. The lowest brightness is barely visible.
If you have a secondary home you can probably order for the secondary home but you will be asked to move off Internet Air and not be able to order again at your current home.
