In this case it was to take advantage of the sixth month premium to reinvest into the same stock at an all time low and also sell more covered calls on those shares. It is an account I only have access to every few months so this seemed like the best option.

I have never had them assigned so even though I had been doing it for twelve years I have never seen it in action from the covered call side.
I know that the shares will sell immediately if assigned but didn't know how it impacted my funds. I assumed they would clear as well. The reason I ask is because I want to do a longer CC, knowing the price will rise above the strike in the near term, but also knowing it is undervalued so I would take the much higher premium to buy more shares now. I also don't believe it will fly above the strike so I am fine with selling at that premium in order to give myself more buying power now.
I just wanted to make certain I wasn't also locking myself in for six months or if I could reinvest the money made on those shares immediately.

I have been trading options for years but have never had a covered call exercised. I am looking to do a six month covered call. What happens if that call is exercised after a month? Do I have to wait until expiration for the proceeds? Is there a holding period where the funds are locked up? Or do I immediately get the proceeds, the option disappears, and I can use the money to do what I please immediately?

MM has great deals but they are the worst with fulfillment. It shouldn't take ten days just to fill an order. Three orders with them and all three took ten to twenty days to get my games. I like game nerdz, dice drop, and legendesque games.

Target raises their prices before these promotions. I mean come on... Twilight imperium for $120. That is absurd. They know people do this and price accordingly. They know they will get more than what they lose from these deals especially since margins on most of these games for a massive retailer is quite large.

All I do is trade options. It's far easier to make money than it is with shares alone. I almost never buy options, always sell. Lower risk, steady profits. Big wins are way more exciting but for every person that makes massive gains there are thousands that lose everything. It is gambling.
