It was not great either. It just was an grep - f X.log capture.
But at least I had an properly grepable log in the console - now we don't have that either, as there is no packetfilter log. fwlog.log basically does nothing.
I am now back to pcap's as the fastest source of logs, if i really have to troubleshoot issues. And that's better still on the cli - as the implementation in the UI is a joke at best
dk_DB
I find it funny, that most credible fw admins i know immediately set up an 'drop all with log' rule - but sophos still refusing to give us the possibility to enable logging on the pre-configured rule (on the premises of 'nobody wants that but you... ').
Just to make it more annoying for all who don't configure firewalls like it is 2005...
Edit: sorry for going off topic for a bit here.

Given how bad the integrated log viewer is, anything is better than that.
Will give it a try.

Forcing wifi to run on absolute full blast to do anything (unless turned off ofc, but what would be the point... - nah, what was I thinking of some who covers wifi equipment with tinfoil)
Same as idiots who put an Faraday cage overthe wifi router and complain on unstable Wi-Fi....
People are just stooopid

Schick ihm diesen Beitrag.

Mom with child in the back seat - need more space for the child...
Or
Needed to move the seat but was parked against the wall and did not want to break my ribs trying ro reach for the controls.
Was handy at least twice for me (in half a year.) Not a feature that needs to be there - but it's just a little bit of software that allows this.

Awesome.
Print in place? Just add a magnet and battery, right? /s

A) their services are interrupted - or slower at least. Makes it a worse company in they eyes of those who don't know (printables slow again - i am for sure getting an bambu printer next time) B) they need to pour money, time and energy into the problem

I constantly (gradually) try to steer it to the edge a bit, more like fighting it... Ill give it a try... But I - for the most part - have given up on using it outside of highways
dk_DB
For me, it is mostly useless outside of highways. It regularly tries to kill me on my commute on multiple turning lanes ending in traffic islands....
And also not being correct about the speed in city areas. We have multiple towns with 50kph on the main road but 30 everywhere else - target breaking ton50 amd than slams down to 30. Between towns there is usually 70 - half the time it thinks 100 On the other hand, there was an short 30 zone for a few weeks - half a year ago... Now the whole road (usually 100) is stored with 30.
It also drives a little more to the middle of the road as i am comfortable with (I usually keep a bit further to the right side of the road to have a few cm more space to those crazy corner cutzers - safed me so many times)
On the highway it is fine. But having driven bmw's system - I'd prefer that. (a college of mine is more pro travel assist and hates bmw's implementation - so it's not for everyone)

Windows - monthly a few days after patchday + oob updates when needed.
Linux - depends on the type. Many are appliances for us, so depending on the update/maintenance cycle of the manufacturer Internal machines - along with ms updates: monthly as i don't need to make it harder for everyone to plan. 99% are clean enough to just roll the updates daily + reboot along the windows servers.
For your web facing machine. Ideally you want two of the same - assuming you're relying on those being on 100% of the timw - and that thing should not live in the internet... It's place is behind an WAF

I don't particularly like or hate both. I got the SUV because it is the closest thing we got for an wagon EV (it took the entirety of 30sec of test driving the ID7 to know that steering wheel buttons and touchscreen only design is the worst for me). It's no real SUV either... Nor is the coupé. I don't mind the design of the coupé as much as i hate the stupid glass roof. It makes for a terrible echoing room and summer sun is gona melt your brain. A stupid trend in vehicle design - and you don't even get a motorized sun shield as you would get with the sunroof on the SUV model. (don't buy anything with a sunroof from VAG - they all leak sooner or later)

Nor is it 4k or FHD...

Nothing is personalized - especially not with electric seats.
Barely any settings are profile dependent. Seating position is not one of them. Only tge two position you could safe ON the seat are stored - independent from any user profiles.
And the funny thing - everything is stored on the key (position + some settings) - like with other VAG vehicles... But they plain don't use it.

I meam, i'm usually the other way around and going away from anything UI - but I'll give it a try and might have a few so-called devs who refuse to touch any kind of terminal more than they absolutely need.... So this might be useful to have
