Haha after the people started posting about the username, I clicked on the profile and realized I’ve seen her stuff and liked it before as well.

Ebola is very interesting. To simplify it is a disservice to the public and to the virus.
It’s not transmitted “easily”, it needs blood contact. You won’t get it from the air. Sharing food and / or clothes maybe, due to tiny cuts anywhere.
Obama literally flew an Ebola patient back to the US iirc.
I get “blood spraying out the anus” is a great media catch, but it’s just not what happens.
Funny I’ve already been downvoted.
Currently reading spillover from 2012 and it has a wealth of information on the virus. Since that book the Zaire strain has a vaccine, but the reservoir host is still somewhat up in the air, despite fruit bats seeming likely.

Bro starts a “let’s stop politics” thread with like the most biased political intentions ever.

I originally almost upvoted and responded to you thinking it was sarcasm because nobody could say that seriously. Now that I realized you were serious, you’re one of the dumbest people I’ve ever met, and that’s saying a fucking lot.
Well, at least put it in a money market?
Conventional wisdom and history say dumping it into a low fee index fund is better (VT, VTI, etc), lump sum beats DCA a decent amount of time.
My wisdom, which means absolutely nothing, keeps a fair amount of cash in money market because I’m just very bearish right now. My personal feelings about congress, the Fed, the US Treasury, the AI industry / private equity / credit. what is happening behind the scenes that we really don’t know yet, and who are the bag holders for this? I’ve taken a weird stance of having some money in other currencies, which is a fairly stagnant choice. A US investor in a euro bank isn’t going to make great returns.
