There is a bike signal (flashing yellow lights on demand) in front of City Hall across from the Annex (early voting location). Those signals are regulated differently from traffic signals, so they can go in more places.

I feel, as a member of a disability commission in Massachusetts, that there are some things we can't say. This is one of them. A business or organization or community group can't accommodate all people at all times. An ironic fact not mentioned, was that the bar group used masking as a proxy for disabled people, particularly immunocompromised people.
But as I understand it, the bar was in a basement and had no access to chair user nor cane users, who are what many people categorize as "disabled". The owners--and eventually the owner--had barely the resources to run an ongoing establishment, let alone provide disabled access.
That's not cheap.

That particular TV had a short lifespan. CRT TV's aren't bright to begin with, and when you beam it through a magnifier and a mirror, it's really dark. The electron guns in the set had to be cranked up all the way to even get a usable picture.
These sets would have the screens burned out of them in a few years, like arcade game screens but much worse!

The 465 serves the Danvers malls. It just doesn't serve Peabody anymore.

The plan is to reinforce the bridges and move the Type 9 cars to Mattapan when the Type 10 cars are put in service.

I took night classes at SSC over one summer and I was told not to walk through the Point. I was tired of detouring around, so I just walked through. Not a problem.
If anything, I hate walking through the upscale parts of Salem, such as the Common and Federal St. I'd actually rather be in Lynn. The snobs can be somewhere else away from me.

Edwin Land was the founder.
