Look into EverDrive cartridges. I think this is exactly what you are looking for. They are not cheap, but well reviewed. Mind you — you need one PER console, not just one size fits all. If you want that, you're looking more so at like a mini-pc situation, or a home-brewed Wii/Xbox situation.

What kind of systems are you looking for? There are flash rom cartridges for things like SNES, Genesis, N64 that you can load roms into and play on the original consoles.

There’s likely no difference in “quality”. What you will experience with that on is them attempting to turn the 5.1 channels into virtualized surround sound (in stereo). You get the same “quality” either way but you may get some like “that sound is coming from behind me” effects as well. 

It may also affect the sound in ways that make it kinda worse. It’s a personal preference per game thing I think. Keep this on and then turn off surround sound in the game if it sounds bad. 

I take back my previous answer. They use virtual surround sound. The choice is yours. Do whatever sounds better to you. I bet you will find you like the 5.1 on for gaming.

They may be better quality, but 5.1 surround sound is a very specific thing meaning that the audio signal will be split 6 ways, with 5 directional speakers and 1 subwoofer.

these are REALLY good headphones — make no doubt. But they are STEREO headphones.

You can get equally good quality sound from 5.1 and stereo. It's really all about positionality and spatialization of audio to different channels.

edit: also worth noting: headphones are only going to be as good as the audio mastering in the game itself. most people cannot tell the difference between audiophile level details that require 80 ohm high impedance drivers. but to each their own.

That’s not an emoji library. That’s a keyboard input feature. I don’t know if you can trigger the emoji keyboard on native devices via react native but you could build/incorporate your own picker.

Emoji are just text characters, nothing special is needed to display them. Unless you want custom ones, then that gets… complex.

any package crossing state lines paid for with USD becomes federal. you can look this up without being so sure of yourself. it's probably not mail fraud, because theft isn't fraud, but it is a federal crime

but seriously, just by you asking to play Roblox I can tell you are a kid. You should not do this unless you know what the hell you are doing. You can ruin this computer your mom bought. You need to read a lot of instructions. And have a 32GB USB thumb drive.

I'm being serious: if you don't know what you are doing don't do anything with regard to OpenCore unless you have someone well versed with computers near you.

what kind of games were you expecting to play? an old iMac likely can't play much but there's a ton of old games that are compatible, especially if you do get the OpenCore stuff working.

but you need to understand -- this is not a gaming PC. This is not even really a PC to play games on. You got a family computer from a decade ago. It can probably do enough for your family, but it's not a gaming machine.

computers do so much more than just games. it can be a vital lifeline for a family to actually become a part of today's economy. you could teach yourself to code on that thing. you could learn a lot about the world.

but it's not for games, sadly. if she bought it for that purpose, she got scammed.
