You drink your calories. The rest of your food is purely processed stuff. So you either have a lot of meal replacements, or you eat out. Either way, throw out all thats in your "cheese" drawer. You need to buy the real stuff.

Damn. I just watched Falling Skies. FML

Im so sorry. My identical twin has issues right now and is a missing person. Im terrified that this moment will come too soon. We are in our 30s. I do not wish this on anyone.

Only twins can understand what you're going through, but atm I cannot even fathom the depth of your pain. Although I am preparing myself for that day to come.

You are in my thoughts. This grief will probably never go away. You will have to live two lives. One that was technicolor, full of vibrancy and life wirh your twin. And then you will live this life, without him. I cannot tell you what will happen next, I do not envy where you go from here. What I do know, is that this stranger on reddit feels for you completely, and please know that your twin will always be with you, in your soul. You will never be alone.

No. My twins name is Elizabeth and mine is Sarah. Thank god our parents kept our names different.

Do not name them rhyming names, names that are similar, or start with the same letterm

Do not do it. Please.

I knew a couple from Kensington, Philly. Probably one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the US.

They had a pit bull named China (she was white), so her full name was China White. After a form of Heroin.

I would like to say they were a lovely couple, but they were not. They were terrible people.

All my family's animals are named human names: (except for the horses) Peter (cat) Mischief (cat, I was a child when I named him) Sacha (cat) Maggie (dog) Charmaine (dog) Maximilian (dog) Theodore (dog) Harper (dog) Marcel (dog) Riku (dog) Akira (dog) Georgiana (dog) Lucian (dog) Leor (puppy) Casimir (puppy)

My twin sister is a missing person and I fear one day she will leave me alone here on earth. It is my greatest fear, and Im sure every twin can 100% relate. My deepest condolences, my heart goes out to you.

Not to sound macabre, but you will have to learn to live another life without her physical being. You will live two lives. One that was with her, and one where she is with you in memory and in your soul. I do not envy this next step in your journey. I only pray that you find solace when you feel despair, healing when you feel helpless, but mainly, know that even if you physically are alone, you WILL never be alone. Do not feel lonely, its like phantom limb syndrome...look in the mirror, your phone, and talk to her. She is listening.

downsiderisk

I havent found anything. She doesn't plan usually when she goes missing. Its a lot more opportunistic than that. She decides as she goes day by day of how long she wants to be out.

But each time she goes missing, I keep thinking, maybe this time, its gone REALLY south. What if she made an error in judgement? Is she trafficked? Is she alive? Was she made to take drugs?

Then I start to spiral. Which, ultimately, doesn't help.

Nevermind, I read all of OPs responses on this thread. They do not have race anxiety.

downsiderisk

Oh holy sh*t, I retract what I said that you have race anxiety Nvm. You are racist, or youre pretending to not be but in fact, hate black people as a collective whole most likely due to inherent fear based in deep seated feelings of insecurity.

That's from reading your comments on this post.

downsiderisk

No, OP is not discussing racism. This is more race anxiety. Racism is systemic, and is derived from the intentional harnessing racial anxiety in order to spread not only fear, but to cross that with power and social hierarchical structure in order to put down the opposing race.

OP does not appear to indicating that there is a systematic, almost caste like condescension towards black people. They are simply describing an inherent anxiety around people of that race. Not that they believe they are "superior", or saying that black people are "inferior" in any way.

Just people you have fear of a group of people, does NOT make you "racist".

For ex, I had a friend who was gay. But he described himself when he first came out as initially, "homophobic". Does that make him a Bigot? No. He simply lack the socialization and exposure around gay people.

Racism is a lot more systemic than having a fear around people with a different skin color than yourself. This person seems to be explaining what sounds like RACE ANXIETY, which indicates that lack of cross-racial contact and cultural unfamiliarity breed social fear.

To put it simply:

Sociological and psychological frameworks distinguish between racism and racial anxiety based on intent, systemic power, and behavioral execution.

While racism involves maintaining power dynamics through structural inequalities or individual animus, racial anxiety is an emotional and physical stress response tied to the fear of how one will be perceived or treated during cross-racial interactions.
