I changed the settings so I could build closer to alpha bosses and other structures. I built my end game base so that the big boulder there is in the centre of it. I have to fight of the jetragon quite often. It's not that difficult though, and it's never destroyed anything.

It does fly south of that rock frequently when I'm at my base for a while. Maybe the placement is why it does that.

They're fine. Happy with them being an alternate to the current jerseys, which are absolute perfection.

Passives don't matter when it comes to expeditions, but I do think if you're spending the time to breed might as well get the passives you want too.

I would like pals to prioritize placing items in chests where that item already exists.

I would also like to click a button and swipe over multiple stacks and have them transfer. Same with selecting pals for the condenser or disassembler.

Not sure if it's just me, or if it's international, or a bug. If I'm standing on the expedition station when it ends the prompt to open it doesn't appear unless I step off of the station first. Once I step back on I can open it. Similar thing with the ancient hatchery. If I manually put eggs into it and wait in the menu for them to finish, the collect button doesn't doesn't become selectable. I have to exit the menu and go back in.

Not even close to a similar situation.

To answer your question, no, you don't need to have the world tree unlocked at all to do that expedition.
