Story stays exactly the same, possibly with voice-acting. The world map stays the same. I’m really hoping that Master Quest is involved in some way. Gameplay needs to have more QOL updates like the iron boots swap.

My wishlist includes: 1 bonus dungeon for Young Link and Adult Link each, more cosmetic customizations, a photo mode with a Hyrule Compendium to complete, and more uses for the Happy Mask Salesman masks.

His and Kyle Kulinski’s videos are being upvoted on /r/videos, I’ve noticed. Being consistent with your politics pays off.

I think we’ve past the point now where it’s fun to critique the right-wing anti-woke pop culture channels. I don’t think RLM wants to engage in it. Nerd Crew was amazing for pop culture channels at the time but it wouldn’t work today.

Typical Reddit mod mentality?

I really hope this election cycle breaks him free from it. I can’t fault him too much for liking certain fringe actors since it looks like he values them on a personal level (BJG was a guest at his wedding and Marianne officiated it) but I think he’s coming around to realizing that there are unserious people out there who do more harm than good overall.

Mangs isn’t well-liked in the online Fire Emblem community for some scummy behavior he’s done. In the court of public opinion he hasn’t taken any accountability for what he did so many content creators refuse to associate with him.

I like keeping it platonic, but it really depends on the game. They handled a romantic plot between Link and Zelda really well in SS and they handled a platonic relationship really well in OOT. One thing I loved about OOT is how there are multiple potential partners Link could end up with but nothing is ever really established and the fanbase can decide for themselves who Link can be with. What I don’t like about BOTW and TOTK is that they are definitely implying a romantic relationship between Link and Zelda but also implying other potential shipping partners for Link so it feels kind of stifling at times.
