Windsor is closer to Miami than it is to the Manitoba border (through Ontario)

No, but he probably got her fired from her last gig

dsac

women often create more work than is necessary

Yeah, but they also have a lower threshold for what constitutes "necessary", usually because of an increased focus on aesthetics instead of functionality.

Well yeah, living in a democracy means that everyone has an equal say, and decades of American Exceptionalism has made (mostly white) Americans believe they are better than other people (mostly people with melanin)

Democracy means accepting there's no hierarchy, and that's antithetical to American Exceptionalism

dsac

what could a mayor do to make you feel more safe?

Round up all the homeless people and bus them to Dougie's cottage

one guy on the iPhoneDuo sub posted a shot of it broken during the setup screen

that sub is nice collection of "i've had it for 72 hours, it's not broken" and "can't believe i paid $3000 for something that broke the first day"

for a serious answer - they didn't account for proper tolerance when putting the hinge in place.

the external hinge design allows >180 deg opening, albeit just slightly - there's an internal hinge right in the middle of the folding section, and when it's "hyperextended", the internal hinge presses into the LCD and breaks it

oh, unquestionably, flip phones have always been fidget toys

dsac

think of how many times you check your phone or you check it, put it away, then forgot what you just checked and have to open it again

in its defense, there's a screen on the front for that kind of situation

They do a lot more than running a thrift shop

All of the stuff is not because they're a thrift shop, it's because they're a Methodist Church, first and foremost.

Which means, as you guessed it, they are turbo ultra plus anti-LGBT.

Oh, and they shield child molesters.

You know, just regular church stuff.

Also, bots intentionally include typos to increase engagement

Drip coffee is rarely strong enough to drink it diluted or sweetened

Espressos can be too bitter and often need something to offset it

dsac

It's being History-Channel-ified

Zero percent chance that'll happen

Populists aren't very common in the Libs

There is something that happens that disrupts her sexual desire (kids, job stress, family stress, grief) and the guy thinks he’s being supportive by allowing her to say NO to sex without pestering her too much, but regardless of what she is going through he has needs and she is suppose to meet them.

Yes.

Just like she has needs, and he is expected to meet them, regardless of his feelings.

That is the arrangement they both agreed to when they got married.

When a man isn't meeting the woman's needs in a relationship, people rarely tell her "you need to suck it up and work on yourself". I know this first hand, as my sister-in-law and I have identical problems with our spouses, which we have talked together about in depth. Almost all the advice given to me from friends and strangers was framed as "you need to do something to be OK with the situation", whereas the advice given to her was "he needs to change or you should leave him".

dsac

Swap the genders, and consider if your advice would be the same - "all of these things are just excuses he should get over so she can have more sex- but that’s actually shit she has to work on so he feels safe and comfortable enough to enjoy sex again."

Part of being in a relationship is meeting each others needs.

Nothing OP can do will resolve the issue that is causing her to not meet his needs. He can facilitate, but it's up to her to fix herself. If she doesn't want to work on overcoming her issues to uphold her end of the deal - meeting her partner's needs - then she's unilaterally changing the terms of their arrangement, and he is justified in deciding to leave the relationship.

The problem is, most Christians have intentionally misread Matthew 7:1-3

Critical thinking and literacy haven't been staples in the US for decades

if you google "safeway store intelligence camera site:www.reddit.com" you'll find a bunch of results

grocery stores are putting cameras all over the place, to do all kinds of shit

dsac

You don’t casually build something that is massively successful and become a billionaire without making deliberate choices that hurt other people

"I won a couple hundred mil in the lottery 10 years ago, and invested it all in NVDA"

dsac

"The Constitution is unconstitutional" is certainly an argument I'd love to see them try.

It's far more likely they'll just say "whatever, what are you gonna do about it"

dsac

"Dougie, get on de ice"

dsac

Obsequious!
