Correlation vs causation though. That people are not watching the film does not by definition mean that it’s bad or that this that did watch it are not liking it. Last I checked it had a good audience score or RT. It’s the critic score that was 50/50. Which is not really an unusual occurrence. The film was clearly going to be about a very polarizing subject at the moment. Implying that there are people out there who would not watch it purely because of that is a bit reductive.

They sort of can. There’s a refinery just off the coast that is perfectly geared to do just that. They have been doing it for 40 years until closure. Everything is still there including the knowhow to run it. It would only need a supply of light oil and that can be had.
