I have gone through 3 of them, the chip is capable of 4 uarts but I think only one is exposed to be user added (unless you really want to go the legs of the stm chip). The issue I had with this board though is there's a regulator that sticks out on top in the front that when jostled enough increases the amp draw so much that you have no battery life. I'm still rocking the air 4 in 1 because of that issue

Angle mode for whoop racing fell out of favor 3 years ago. Was popular in the frsky era, but it's been all acro in the expresslrs era

I mean I feel like on this subreddit you're gonna get similar answers, but the built in HDZero antenna setup is pretty good for whooping, I have the external module and a rapidfire and I rarely put it on the goggles. Only really use the module when long ranging.

There's other analog advantages the HDZero goggles have that require hardware mods to work on the 04X, like the DVR microphone on the goggles and the elrs backpack

I don't run, but I do other forms of racing, and when my qualifier got ruined by organizers they offered me either a refund or a free entry into the next years race

People can say they were trying to qualify for Boston but part of that includes running at a BQ pace. If your time was one split time within a BQ qualifying time but fell short because of the extra distance they should absolutely be compensated for that.

while charging it also measure the IR, can tell if the one cell that's low IR is way out of range of the rest of the pack that cell may need replacing

I like the weight and stackability of poker chips, used a cheap thermal printer to make the stickers for the chips and a bit of hack job 3d print for a case so they don't fall over at the tables, and then threw in the timing chart for good measure

It has new problems (buck booster is in a vulnerable spot and you lose massive amounts of battery life when it goes)

To be fair they're basically interchangeable for this purpose
