Some modern HVACs do have a lower power mode for energy savings and the thermostat will call for what "stage" it feels appropriate for the temperature delta. My HVAC has 2 stages for cooling and "2" for heat. IIRC 70% and 100% for cooling, and a heat pump and resistive strips for heating.

Nope.

Thanks for writing the spoiler in the title which doesn't get spoiler protection.

You're trusting the password manager to handle security better than the random sites you put your passwords into. Often times this is the correct trust since password managers only have to focus on being a password manager and sites you log into have to focus on their product and authentication.
If you use one password for everything and a weak sites gets compromised all those logins are also compromised.

This post has been removed because OP's comment history in other subreddits implies he bought this system off some third-party seller off Offer Up. We've reached out to OP via direct message. If OP can provide proof that he bought it from Microcenter we will re-approve this post.

Slaughter is the only one unionized so I think that has something to do with it.
eegras
They're all switching to QR. Slaughter is delayed until end of the month and North Lamar is delayed until after SXSW.

Yeah, and you can make your own docker image if one doesn't exist.
You make up a "Dockerfile" which is a playbook that Docker follows to build the container. The Dockerfile contains instructions like "use this OS as the base, install these things, put this over there".
It isn't rocket science, no. But it is wicked cool and really useful.
eegras
Yup! Though Portainer itself is run as a Docker container so it could also run on Windows. That's why containers are stuuupid useful. They are self-contained "hey just run this and it'll work" instead of the legacy "install it on a VM and maintain the dependencies yourself" or the legacy-legacy "we got a server for this and have to maintain the dependencies ourself"
eegras
We're pretty basic, so we just use Portainer to orchestrate a couple servers we deploy Docker images on.
eegras
My company containerizes our vulnerability assessment software, our corporate wiki, our Lets Encrypt cert renewals, among other things. It makes updating this software stupid easy.

Contact your insurance. Give them the information of the people that wrecked your stuff. Start trying to find old pictures of your patio or receipts to prove value.

I have something similar but under my counter tops. Bonus, with how sensitive they are, they also allow my dog's barks to turn the lights on.

This is a locking mechanism for the Apple iSight A1023 webcam. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISight . It's to keep the FireWire 400 cable attached. You can see an example in the Design section.

babies get the Human Papillomavirus vaccine
CDC recommends 2 doses of HPV vaccine at ages 11–12 years. HPV vaccination can be started at age 9 years.

I understand your point, however a comment made several hours after a post is made, and after the post makes it to the front page, either of the subreddit or r/all, is unlikely to get enough visibility that the few people who would upvote it would upvote it enough to get seen by more people. We've historically used stickies in this situation to add context to misleading posts. We don't do it often.

You have an option of 3. Nabu, Jarvis, and Mycroft.

How hard is it to throw out ideas for features that are super cool but don't fit the vision of the factory? Are there any examples of this?

This is what I use to detect and alert leaks. It will use Nabu Casa TTS to speak the name of the leak sensors that are triggered. Pair this with leak sensors that also scream on their own for max reliability.
You need:
- A Media Player Group called
Critical Announcersthat you put all the speakers you want to shout - A Label called
Leak Sensorswhich you put the ENTITY in. - A template sensor called
Leak Detected
Leak Detected template sensor. If any entity labeled "Leak Sensor" is "on" then this sensor is On.
{{ label_entities("Leak Sensor") | select('is_state', 'on') | list | count != 0 }}
The automation triggers off this state being changed and repeats every 30 seconds until its solved.

I had exactly the same issue. It was not the blend door, I was low on refrigerant. Check that first since its easier and cheaper.
It can, but that takes time. The drive has to go and write data over that spot. On HDDs that would negatively impact performance of the drive since it can only write or read (simplified).
A solid state drive can do this overwrite delete at the same time the rest of the drive is being used normally, but SSDs have a limited number of writes. Overwriting data on a SSD then having other data come over and write on the same spot is 2 writes for the same outcome.
Every OS has a "secure delete" method to do an overwrite delete.
