Today, one day later, I can see all my Favorite TV listings. However, when I punch in a channel number, it says that channel is not in my Favorites and I must change to All Channels to see it-- even though that channel IS in my Favorites, and I can see it in my Favorite listings. So while Comcast is obviously trying to fixate problem, it's still not back to what it was. Keep trying, Comcast!!!

I have the same problem, starting today. When I go to the Guide with my Favorite Channels only, it shows a static page telling me how to make a channel a Favorite, but shows NO TV listings. I have to select the Free to Me channel option, then the Guide will show me TV listings I have gone through a total Reset and a Refresh (using those options in my Settings) and nothing has helped. I haven't made any changes in my setup, so it's obviously Comcast that is causing the change.

Thank you. I drink lots of diet cola and sometimes assume because the cans came from a cardboard box they are clean. Don't think I'll ever drink from another can without washing it. Thanks for the tip.

Nice classy comment by Redford. They both were classy guys.

Yes, I have had the same problem. I have had a Tracfone account for years and just want to refill my plan. I normally just renew for a year of service, then get any extra texts or minutes only if I need them. When I go to refill my plan on their website, the order never goes through. This has been going on for WEEKS. I will probably have to call their so-called customer service and to do it. I normally ask for a US-based person because I have difficulty understanding people who are not normally English speakers. But their website SUCKS.

Yeah, those corn-on-the-cob rows of teeth look weird. My orthodontist ground all my front teeth to the same level, so I think an uneven row of teeth, esp. with longer eye teeth, is much more youthful and natural looking.

I once heard this described as Control+Copy and Control+Velcro.

LOVE IT!
Can I make a suggestion? Put your expandable curtain rod just an inch or two down to let in a little light. It looks like you need the curtain for privacy, but just an inch or two would let in a little daylight without sacrificing privacy.

SPECTACULAR!!

I love when kids draw on the sidewalks -- or even kids-at-heart!

Thank you! I have one that's a souvenir from years ago that I hated to part with but hesitated to hang in my small apartment balcony. So now I'm going to dig it up and hang in my window. What a great idea!

I will never go another winter without a heated throw. I actually prefer my apartment a bit cool, with a heated throw to keep me warm.

The best part is making rice, getting it cold, then making fried rice and adding vegetables to it, topping with sesame oil. Yum!

I have one from high school. One nun was always telling us not to buy the cartridges, but instead come to her with a depleted cartridge and she would use a syringe to fill it up again with ink. Never took her up on that offer, but I loved my cartridge fountain pen!

How about a pic?

I tried to look up the movie "You're Dating a Narcissist" and could not for the life of me figure out how to spell narcissist. Some words just do not stick in the brain!

You gave it with the right intent. If she was scamming you, the bad karma's on her, not you.

Well, we don't always get what we want. But I guess you have to just be open to what the world offers you, and think long and hard before you settle down with someone, not just because you want to be with anyone, but because that person IS your person.

That's great you are spreading his appreciation for other people in your own job. I love how he always asks, "How can I help?"
el_bargo
You WILL find your person. You are just taking your time to make sure, not settling for just anyone. It will be worth it in the long run; I'm praying your will find your person SOON.

Great idea about the flowers. When one of my brother's kids has a birthday, the girls each get a bouquet and his wife gets one, too.

Thanks -- I love "Here, There and Everywhere."

She's lovely, and wearing a Mary Quant style dress. Everything British was cool at that time.

I don't have your same situation, but I do keep the heat cool in my little apartment. But I will never again live without a heated throw in the winter. I keep it on my lap and, if it's really cold like it has been, wrap it around my feet, too.
For scrubbies, I buy net fabric by the yard and cut it into pieces. That way I can replace it every few days. I use it to scrub pans for a few days, then clean the stainless steel sink and drain with it, then throw it away. I usually cut it into the size about or 3 index cards, just fold or smush it to use.
I also use dish rags, and I keep separate ones for dishes that can be washed in very hot water.
