The candy buff mechanic should have been tied to buddy Pokemon, not Mega

It's not just about power creep, it's about making megas more appealing to farm. I would just raid a mega once and level up with free cooldowns, because most megas were only worth the candy boost anyway.

At the very highest gsp, i think it's the majority of players

Was only released as a McDonald's promo in Japan in 2003. I got a decent condition card for $56 in 2021 when I decided to try and collect every Squirtle card variant. This one has my favorite design and was the first holo Squirtle... The card is now going for over $1000 and I feel so blessed to buy it when I did.
