Locking the walk boost behind level 20 is diabolical. Can't even make use of one of the main event perks for several days unless you spend money. I'm not one to go out of my way and complain but this is such a scummy thing to do imo

Hard to say, of course. But something to consider is that Pokemon is the highest grossing franchise of all time. It won't stay that way forever but I and many, many other people are going to be lifelong fans. I think many cards are inflated right now but I don't think we will ever go back to the pre-pandemic market, generally speaking. The millenials that grew up with the first games are becoming the wealthiest demographic as time goes on.

Have to agree, as a streamer, it is way more interesting for me and the viewers to gamble channel points on encounter predictions when I'm desperately trying to dodge a third Starly. Guaranteeing stuff like Heracross etc is not as interesting to me, and the vanilla games are easy enough that dupes clause is overkill imo

Same notification as you. I read the Nintendo announcement as there being an initial eligibility message followed by instructions later, and that's exactly how it happened. Hence my initial post, I wanted to make sure Nintendo saw I was eligible.

It's fine but it's still a diet version of Mario Party. Hard to justify playing it over most others.

Squirtle is my fave Pokemon and I made a moveset for him in the Melee days... I always thought Hydro Pump anime style would have been a great recovery move. Essentially Bowser Whirling Fortress but water comes out the shell holes. Would also patch up his air-to-air weakness.

If you're not going to trade it away (and I assume not) then it does not matter. Bank/HOME won't verify if you got the ribbons legit, or if it came from a save backup.

Gen 3 ribbons on it would be visibly illegitimate but Bank/HOME still likely won't care

imo Windmillville sucks harder because of Bowser Time and the game of chicken that happens with the 3 star path. But I agree Tycoon Town is super overrated. Warped Orbit is the only 8 board I dislike more.

FRLG is tough due to multiple frame perfect inputs. I always held A until the continue screen was fully rendered. Took me like 5 hours but I got my target. My advice is to be consistent about your inputs. With calibration, it shouldn't matter how "off" you are as long as you are consistent about how you input relative to the timer. As long as you can do that, you'll hit your target.
