Where are you from, curiously? The phrase "Southern Florida" is usually a give away that someone isn't from Florida at all. 

Anyone from Florida refers to that area as South Florida. Speaking as someone from Broward/Miami-Dade, this is non-negotiable. No one from here says "Southern Florida" .

This is the most compelling reason, TBH. 

I get down voted every time I mention this, but it is crazy to me that there are still providers who are requiring patients to come off this medication for surgeries. Plenty of hospital systems do not require this and there is plenty of evidence that as long as you are liquid only for 24-36 hours before hand and NPO for 12 hours before surgery, stopping isn't necessary. 

Can I ask what surgery you're having that requires this?

You can't possibly expect to pay retail/grocery store prices for restaurant food... Right? That's not how that works, anywhere, ever. 

$9 beer would be a steal where I live. They are generally $12+. You must be in MCOL/LCOL. 

Imagine, not everyone wants career advancement. Some people just find something they like and want to keep doing it. There isn't room for everyone to be a ladder climber because pyramids get smaller on top. There is no reason to disparage someone who is happy where they are. 

It's really hard to live below your means if your means barely cover costs of basic survival. Every position has value, even janitors and people who check you in and run your insurance at the doctor's office. Even servers. Yet, many positions are ridiculously underpaid as wages have not kept up with inflation and general cost of living. 

There is almost no place you can survive on $50k a year in this country. Definitely not of you have kids, yet, many positions are still needed in areas where the salaries are still low. 

It's really naive and privileged to say "just live below your means" when many people make less than what covers basic necessities like food and shelter. 

I would argue that you lot, fawning and fussing over a complete stranger's annoying, incessant posts on this sub are the ones with no life.

I find their posts exhausting, honestly. Very main character syndrome, and arguably the worst part is that if you check her profile, she doesn't interact with any other posts on this sub besides her own. When most people post in the sub a handful of times at most, ever, then yeah - posting every. single. day. talking about herself and collecting her accolades without offering that same encouragement to others? Girl, bye. 

I never said anything about facing adversity, those are your words.
