I’ve had this happen to me. Every time I’ve moved to pull over and the cops just speeds passed me. They just want you out of their way. 

The allegations aren’t new. The midterms are a fine time to remind voters of what has been illegally withheld for almost a year. 

People have been pushing for the release of these docs for years. Just because the Epstein class keep delaying, doesn’t mean they can get a pass during the midterms.  If they didn’t want this during the midterms, they had all year to release what was required. These are the same 37 files that they have been legally bound to release since last Dec. 

For a non-profit group that is tossing in all of the labor for free, yeah that is a considerable amount. The question is more if the story is true or a misunderstanding. Universal commented on the article that they would reach out to clear it up. 

I have no idea who this guy is, but I feel like there is a distinction between demonstrating that the system would allow you to vote vs actually going through with the act of voting. 

Had this happen to me when I was a new driver. The car in front of me changed lanes and there was a stopped car making a left turn. Fortunately it was on a slower road with minimal damage to either car and no injuries. 

Is this true that they didn’t cast a vote? I’d cut them some slack if they were trying to document and demonstrate gaps in the process. 

While I feel that voting should be as frictionless as possible, a little bit of friction at least stops dumb people from getting themselves in trouble.

It only needs 32bit because of the precompiled dll linking. Once  mame can run the rom directly, either 32 or 64 bit will work. Just like any other mame rom. 

Thanks. I have the color DMD working with OpenGL 10.8.0 on VR. Hopefully BGFX gets this worked out.  This table was a bit of a pain to setup, because it needs 32bit versions of everything. 

Essentially transporters are not hard to block, and the default battle-ready stance with shields up has this covered. 

If there is a hostile ship that you would shoot on sight, both ships will have shields up as soon as they are aware of each other. 

Generally you wouldn’t shoot on sight. So deplomacy prevents this tactic. 

Looks good. But that clip seems to take a lot of force to install. The plastic pin is known to break pretty easily. 

I have not tried BGFX yet. I’ll give that a go. FYI there is a great colorized DMD that works with the version you are playing. 

More than once, I have had guys on my team take a month vacation to meet their wife and get married. 

There’s a difference between not being a savior, and ruining something. I agree that Meta failed to save VR. But I also feel that VR would be in an even worse place today if it weren’t for Meta’s investments. 

That’s hard to say. Like it or not, VR was on life support before Meta got involved. Meta gave it a solid go. Pumping money and visibility into VR. Far more than any prior company had done. 

Now that they have pulled back their investment, interest is sliding toward where it was prior to their involvement. 

Still, VR is in a better place today. You can buy headsets at any electronics department and PCVR has less friction to play than ever. 

That birthday is going to feel like Christmas, with everyone getting/giving gifts. 

Speaking of did you watch the movie… yes the Jedi were vary wary of the Chancellor. Though they did not think he was a Sith, they saw him consolidating power and removing political influence away from the Jedi council. 

The Jedi also knew that there was Sith infiltration in positions of political power. With enough influence to enable his capture. 

Yeah, I also watched it live and was too little to understand. Rather I remember the staff reaction afterwards. The excitement and talk of exploration and science, stopped, the mood changed and fell silent. The kids could tell by the adults reaction that it was big deal, and also fell quiet. Being unusually compliant for an elementary school cafeteria. 

The blame lands squarely on the audio engineers. However it is also true that a decent speaker setup does help mitigate the problem. 

Apple whole deal is to not be first. Avoiding most of the “first gen” issues. 

Sorta. The voting machine doesn’t cast the vote in my state. It prints a paper ballot with all of the details readable. The voter themselves then place that printed paper ballot into a scanner that reads, confirms, records and casts the vote. The scanned ballot is then automatically dropped into a sealed container as a backup. 

Point being that the printed paper ballot comes first, before the vote is cast. And is retained as the record. 

Yeah, but this isn’t really first gen. Folding phones have been around for years, and these are being built in the same factories as other brands. 

I saw a breakdown of the issue and it appears to be a manufacturing defect. Part of that specific hinge mechanism may have a burr that results in it binding. If it binds, the force of closing the hinge can cause it to snap, damaging the display. 

I’m not sure how common this is, but the part seems to be unnecessarily thin. I suspect this will have a silent revision soon.  

Are there any differences between the FX and M versions? Or are they there simply because they fit well with the M theme? The video looks essentially the same.
