Or maybe it's a complex issue instead of a good vs evil comic book fight.

Why is Bernie trying to co-opt MLK by making it into a white working class thing with that remark? is he for real?

Excuse me, but, "white moderate"? There's those identity politics we talked about. Tsk tsk. /s/s/s/s/s/s

John Lewis: I ‘Never Saw’ Bernie Sanders During Civil Rights Era

I hear the Bernie amendment is not a clear-cut case of good vs evil, so I'm not joining the takedown on Booker until I inform myself better.

For example, Booker voted for another amendment which also includes buying drugs from Canada, but supposedly with less strings attached. So I don't know

But, Booker has only taken 50k from Big Pharma, while Sanders has taken over 300k, and is the third largest recipient of Big Pharma donations?

I was at /r/SandersForPresident and it's always disheartening. Check the reply to this comment I made:

My comment: "I don't think Bernie would have won the popular vote, as HRC did. Bernie never made any serious inroads with black and brown people."

The reply, with 5 upvotes: "Bernie Sanders fucking marched in the civil rights movement. If that doesn't help your case with black people, fucking nothing will. Black people, women, and the poor deserve 100% of what happens to them in the next 4 years."

I don't know, I'm getting reports that this whole amendment thing is a red herring and Booker did vote for the Wyden amendment that also allows drugs from Canada, but with less strings attached:

So this aggression against Booker may be just more Democrat teardown from our alt-right friends in disguise here

I don't think Bernie would have won the popular vote, as HRC did.

Bernie never made any serious inroads with black and brown people.

Too bad you just alienated minorities and women with the whole "issues relevant to POCs are just identity politics" and "it's not enough to say I am a woman, give me the election".

This has been demonstrated since way before Bernie started alienating them further with his enormous losses in the South and with black voting blocs.

So the only way you can expand is with white rural and rust belt voters. Too bad those detest progressivism and socialism, respectively.

It was shown that among voters whose main concern was the economy, Hillary was preferred over Trump.

It was shown that the biggest Trump voting bloc was comfortably middle class whites. Not economically distressed people.

So again, that's all just what you have made up in your head to explain things to yourself and fit the events to what you want to believe.

Which is very convenient, because this narrative justifies your "revolution"

Mostly spite, wanting to be entertained, and stupidity

There are more than enough people in the movement.

This is merely what you want to believe.

Around 34% of the country is conservative, 32% is centrist, only 24% is leftist. You are a minority.

Also the reason Sanders lost by nearly 4 million votes to HRC. See figures above again.

Get out of the echo chamber

Trump did get elected mostly by promising he'd "drain the swamp"

This is merely what you want to believe

That's generally true, except we are right now in the context of Trump and frickin' Goldman Sachs CEO owning ALL of the government (Senate, House, Supreme Court, Governorships, Presidency, it's all Trump's swamp now).

So, a few years ago I'd be agreeing with you, but right now we're not in a "let's improve the system!" situation, but rather in a "omg they are coming through the walls!" kind of situation:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJQ_7jKIm24

this seems like such a no-brainer amendment

I know we all love a clear-cut good vs evil fight, but this ain't it:

Importing drugs from Canada is a bandaid at best and could cause issues. (Canada has in the past looked to block bulk-exports, due to it causing drug shortages.)

This thing was also part of Clinton's healthcare plan (and was something I disagreed with her on). But the US could easily do what Canada does, they just won't... which is the real problem.

Other problems is that the drugs wouldn't go through the FDA, so we'd be subject to the Canadian equivalent instead. Maybe not a problem, but we'd need an expert to tell us. No one here is an expert.

And so on. Issues are complex. Welcome to the real world

The perfect is the enemy of the good.

In your obsession with absolute purity, you let Trump and his swamp take over ALL of the government (yes, that's right: Senate, House, Supreme Court, Governorships, Presidency, the whole thang)

Now you have the freakin' literal CEOs of Goldman Sachs, Exxon and Carl's Jr. dictating your life.

Again, perfect is the enemy of the good. You screwed up good in this fight.

Funny how this "real world" business works

To all those saying Trump deserves credit for his "extraordinary" win (like Bernie), I say: No Credit.

Because Trump didn't win by being a better candidate. He didn't win by elevating reason and goodness in our society.

No, he won by doing the opposite. He won by exploiting the worst traits of human nature. By exploiting the latent vices, prejudices, and hate in the heart of the average voter.

By that measure, Hitler deserves a lot of credit.

I like people who don't deserve that kind of credit.

For shame. A gal is giving you free fashion and guy looks advice and you get offended. If Josh took my tips, he would improve his looks oh so much. But instead you are all like muh feels.

Maybe guys are the real fragile ones

Gentle reminder that Bernie's is missing a couple pages. Maybe you want to disclose that asap

Gal here, no offense, but Josh is creepy to look at and listen to. Not enjoying this video so far.

Josh, you need to:

• Let go of your taliban beard lol

• Wear thicker clothes so your creepy baby arms don't show

• In general show as little skin as possible, see above

Well, isn't that exactly what's on Plinkett's list? try to jump on the guy in public? you surprised it doesn't work?

Physical confrontation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mz7LA64hP-E&feature=youtu.be&t=20

If you don't have the memory to remember such things, maybe I am smarter than you, and you should listen to what I say?

On that note, the rest of your "points" are dumb, and null and void. So not gonna bother to address them

"We"?.... "Need"?
