We did IUI first, then 3 rounds of IVF. We didn't do one immediately after the other because the first was fairly traumatic for my partner (in part due to a coinciding other medical issue). She's 9 weeks pregnant. At 12 weeks we're going to start letting our guard down. So no congrats yet.

I'm from Canada, but if you're in the US clinics are required to share outcome data. Find the right clinic and not the first you got referred to. Double-digit difference in outcomes depending on the clinic. This can depend on a number of factors such which clients they take on, but lab quality is a big factor.

I'm sure an MIT engineer can workshop some ideas that invite good faith conversations!

Fair enough, but if that's genuinely true, I think sending a massive list of hundreds of jobs is not going to get you that answer. I think there are potentially interesting discussions to be had with better communication; but good luck nonetheless.

I see, I'm not sure how a list of jobs will convince someone of this point. I think it's also safe to assume that the original comment was a bit hyperbolic.

What point are you trying to make? It's not a very helpful table to get a breakdown of industries.

Not very representative, but I would go to this restaurant.

Fuck if they wanted to keep brent spiner in the show, why they'd have to kill data?

It's how a Bri'ish person would pronounce it

One thing that's crossed my mind though is that Sci-Fi generally is such a great way to show current topics though analogy. You have this fantastical universe and alien species, if you want to say something about immigration you can use them instead of literally having a run-in with ICE in L.A. in 2022.

True as well if you want to say something about the insurrection. You don't have to literally show it to make your point. I feel you're less likely to change people's hearts if you do.

Wild that this is shared as a life pro tip and upvoted, because if you are driving this should be extremely obvious. If it's new to you, you shouldn't be behind the wheel and makes me question the driving exams where you're from.
