Bitcoin uses an ASIC-friendly algorithm and it's extremely unlikely it's changed. I thought you were talking about general ideas.

ASIC-friendly PoW can be used for other coins using the same algorithm.

How does ASCI-resistant PoW invite 51% attacks?

Would you elaborate on its stateless mode?

There is a setting to enable on-device passphrase entry for Safe 5. There may be legitimate reasons for them to phase out Trezor One (and T) other than sales, e.g., the use of secure element. It is disappointing nonetheless.

Are you using Trezor One? Other models support entering passphrases on the device.

Trezor One is not getting on-device passphrase input. I implemented on-device passphrase input for Trezor One and submitted a pull request to them. They rejected it, but not because of the implementation itself. It's apparently a business decision. They want people to buy newer models.

So that's how it's achieved. Thanks for the information.

Your seed phrase is your wallet. Your BIP32 root key is your wallet. You have handed over your wallet to some stranger in multiple ways.

What you wanted to say is: WITHOUT inflation, Bitcoin never really hit $100k.

Without inflation, gold never hit $50 per ounce.

Not the government. The banks. The government is just a tool.

If you don't have coins in the wallet and don't plan on having coins in the wallet, you can use any BIP39/BIP32 tools to get the private keys, such as: https://iancoleman.io/bip39/

They can't. Peer-to-peer software can't be killed. That said, they certainly will try.

You are right about yourself.

Banks have been brought to attention to Bitcoin and felt helpless about it. Lol about the elite banks? You are too ignorant to understand.

They can't, because they can't print Bitcoin.

Banks, especially the elite ones, hate Bitcoin. They are the ones who created the FED to print money, and destroyed the gold standard to print money unlimitedly. They don't want anything that people can anchor their money on, and Bitcoin does that.

I don't think so, either. The commenter must have been mistaken because Ledger has something that can be called a backdoor.

Trezor has a backdoor?

Did you know you can do that using a biased coin?

The main hardware difference between Model 1 and Safe 3 or 5 is that the former doesn't use a secure element, while the latter does. In a scenario where a professional adversary holds your device, your seed phrase may be extracted if it's Model 1.

The main software difference between Model 1 and Safe 3, both using two physical buttons, is that you cannot enter your passphrase on the device with Model 1, while you can with the latter. With Model 1, you have to type your passphrase on a computer.

I think T and One are not their priorities because they don't use secure elements.

There is no such thing as a Nobel Prize in Economics. It's an imposter. The Sweden's central bank bribed the Novel prize committee to use the name and make them manage the prize to deceive people. The purpose of the prize is to justify, support and develop debt-based, i.e., bank-based and central baking-based, economics.

A quote from the leader of the bankers who made Bitcoin necessary?
