[numbers I pull out of my ass too]

It's an interesting concept, I want to train a custom LLM on bytecode, source, and various compilations from source, that would make a generative AI that could spit out source directly from bytecode.

What is the value of a wage that you cannot live upon? You can only get so many wages.

f0urtyfive

Denver has one of the highest minimum wage in the country. I'm on a path to shut down my small business in the next few months. It costs me $11,000/month to keep my doors open.

I'd rather have businesses that can't pay a living wage close, frankly.

f0urtyfive

it's a $900 board that can do 30 to 6 ghz with bandwidth from 12 khz to 40 mhz, generally designed for FPGA development, I wouldn't buy it if you're not familiar no.

f0urtyfive

Hey I wonder who lobbies for those crash safety requirements, perhaps the car manufacturers starting at 30k?

f0urtyfive

You do understand what creates "static"

Silica packets are not ESD protection devices... Sure, I suppose you could you know, attempt to protect them from "static" in a giant group, that's uh, kind of not understanding what causes static though...

f0urtyfive

Uh, show me where in this box that contains ALL THE DIMMS the ESD protection would fit?

f0urtyfive

You really don't need to encapsulate the gate, they attack the closest station almost always.

f0urtyfive

Why would you assume a boxcutter damaged them, I'd assume the shit packing job did, you realize these are ESD sensitive you know, more than just sticking them in a box unpackaged?

f0urtyfive

When did you buy the game, out of sheer curiosity? Do you have 1000s of hours?

f0urtyfive

It amuses me you STILL haven't said what sub it is, yet you think people are going to be OUTRAGED!

f0urtyfive

Called Amy Schumer a Zionist and got this notification.

Seems strange that you've cropped out all information about the sub...

f0urtyfive

Why would I want an account without playing the game?

You register an account because you want to save your progress, I don't know you, I don't know your game.

f0urtyfive

Nothing happened because "where the bodies are buried" is public knowledge, it's on TV and in Trumps books...

f0urtyfive

You can't "red team" when you are by definition the "blue team". The whole point of a red team is to have new eyes that look at things differently.

f0urtyfive

(frontier LLMs struggle to fully autonomously come up with good improvements to small LLMs comparable to self-distillation)

(by training and design).

f0urtyfive

Uh, why, when websockets can solve all of those problems and are scalable when implemented right?

f0urtyfive

I think this would actually be pretty useful as an FPGA based debug, IE, creating a little web app that validates a USRP/BladeRF/etc and loads up an FPGA and gives a fitness test and shows serial numbers and such, without requiring any drivers because it's all webUSB based.

f0urtyfive

I'll believe it when I see something reproduced, as is, having written as much code as possible in the last ~10 weeks of my max subscription, I don't think it's possible for Claude to do so, but I do believe it's possible for Claude to convince someone while looking busy, he is an expert at that.

f0urtyfive

When you don't have a computer handy while subnetting, duh.

f0urtyfive

Can you post your questions in English? Why would you use not English? I mean, even if it's your native language, you know it's not the sub's native language...

f0urtyfive

In fact, that's the opposite of what "hacking" is in this case... because you know, competence requires you to patch those vulnerabilities and that's called vulnerability testing.

f0urtyfive

Am I the only one mystified to read about AI hacking sophisticated systems, sneaking around covering its own tracks, directing military drones in warfare, and solving previously unsolvable math problems

… but it can’t be trained to recognize an aluminum can in Denver’s waste stream if that can has been flattened?? (“Flattened or crushed cans can lose their proper profile, confusing the machinery and causing them to be mis-sorted or sent to a landfill”)

Because the billion dollar AI hacking sophisticated systems is different from the $100 AI sold to the government for can-recognition tasks.

f0urtyfive

What if I’m a bot?? (I’m not)

How do you prove it to yourself?
