Hello and thank you for your comment. I think you’re potentially confusing llm output (ie markdown) with the formatted output which may involve formatters updating the quotes similar to typing in ms word. But thanks for sharing your approach, if nothing else I’ll keep an eye out for it and see if it is a useful tell. And of course I cannot know for sure that op used ChatGPT or not :)

Cool

So this means I can demolish my own heritage building and 'rebuild' it with different materials yeah?

fabspro9999

Like spending $300 million on a failed attempt to rebuild an IT system by hiring inept consultants? We really need more of those services.

fabspro9999

I wish more people thought about this.

Government pissing money up the wall is the real problem. Debates over the allocation of who pays taxes is a bit of a sideshow that wouldn't matter if the spending issue was addressed.

fabspro9999

Because in this country, we tax hard work not investments/assets.

fabspro9999

I dunno, a flat tax rate would be a lot fairer and would encourage people to take risks and work harder to earn more. Low income earners already receive significant means-tested benefits to help them out.

fabspro9999

I wouldn't agree that income and wealth are as correlated as you think. Plenty of people earn high incomes and invest little to nothing. And plenty of low-income earners dilligently save and invest over time.

What is clear is that income taxes are a barrier to social mobility, as they actively take away surplus earnings from working harder or taking risks to increase your income. Meanwhile, people who own their own homes that are significantly increasing in value are completely untaxed, regardless of value. And the recent CGT changes only add to the difficulty in compounding one's investments to try and get ahead.

Basically, as it stands your household is 'evil' according to the government. And you are going to now be subsidising:

- People with grandfathered negitive gearing

- Those who chose to have kids

- Uni students who took on too much debt and now get 20% HECS refunds and only have to pay below-inflation interest on the rest

- Transgender health programmes and NDIS programs such as transport to/from brothels

In USA those requirements would be asking the student to either break the law, or seek permission from all publishers of all sources to produce a copy of the source and give it to you (i.e. the pdf). Wouldn't a DOI link for online journals and a library reference at your institution's library for physical books do the same job more effectively?

I don't like the liberals, but will say that stress on public services is happening because of how many people are moving to Melbourne - growth costs a lot because of the necessary infrastructure spending to provide services.

Slashing projects with funds committed is a case-by-case thing... if burning $6 billion to save $200 billion is the decision, it could be worth it depending on the reasons.

But calling Moira scum is ridiculous - she absolutely smashed the Liberal party and exposed how shit they are, causing leadership changes in their party. Curious to know what your reasoning for calling her scum is - are you a supporter of Pesutto and his band of mates?

fabspro9999

Did you know that Dan Andrews did the same thing when Labor got into power by cancelling the East/West link, costing the government 1.1 billion?

Please send me the old kind. It allows me to floss daily, where other products just hurt my teeth. The new ones are designed for people with moderate to severe decay - they are thick and sticky to do lots of work in the big gaps between decaying teeth. For people without decay and small interdental spaces, the PFAS coating is pretty much the sole reason they are able to floss before the decay starts.

fabspro9999

I would care less about this if they didn't gaslight everyone and deliberately mislead millions of consumers by re-using identical or nearly identical packaging and marketing for their floss products, with no clear indication to say "new PTFE-free floss" or something.

I recently bought a bulk lot of floss as I do every few years, and threw out the lot. I've sworn off Oral-B and Colgate for life as they both did the same bait-and-switch. So much wasted floss in the bin.

This type of product switcheroo can turn people off flossing especially for people with sensitive or decaying teeth, disabled people or young people. It's deceptive and these companies deserve to permanently lose every last bit of their reputation for it.

If they got rid of the CGT discount for everything, it would be yet another example of intergenerational theft that punishes millennials who are finally starting to get some small amount of assets together to actually earn capital gains on.

Every single loophole or rort that benefited earlier generations always seems to get closed as soon as millennials are about to benefit from it.

I hope you don't drive a car anywhere, because those things kill children every single year.

fabspro9999

it isnt hard to understand. big car is good for occupants of the big car, and bad for everyone else. so people acting selfishly should get a big car because it's safer for them.

The new seasons are boring to be honest.

FYI, you should only have handed the total amount minus $800 to the teller, and the teller should have given you your portion there and then, because they don't have a legal right to keep your money in that situation... honestly it does border on theft if they kept the entire amount knowing that part of it was yours.

fabspro9999

no. that's the joke you moron lol

fabspro9999

I think it's because the libs policies on everything is just "whatever labor has, but 1% more right wing" and people are tired of it and want an actual alternative.

For me I think it would be interesting to see our major parties get shaken up a bit so they can start actually reforming things and putting new ideas out there, rather than maintaining the status quo with high immigration and all of our natural resources being flogged off overseas with the profits being retained privately to shareholders.

As much as I generally prefer right-wing policies such as low taxes, small government and individual economic freedoms, I do think the facts speak for themselves - our domestic gas prices are insanely high because everything gets exported for profit and this has ruined the viability of manufacturing and several industries, which costs jobs and impoverishes everyone.

fabspro9999

Which Lib politicians have actually dressed up as Nazis?

fabspro9999

man if they can't figure out how to make a reliable windows 10 update after more than 10 years of the OS being generally available, how can i even think about using windows 11 lol
